The casino is the same as the previous luckywins.
The support at luckywins called themselves winmaker. They later informed me that they are only affiliate sites and that winmaker and luckywins are cooperating.

Later, support changed its mind and said that winmaker and luckywins are casinos, sister casinos with the same owner.
Which is strange because the pages list different licensees and owners.

For the games I have played, I have noticed that the appearance has changed, contains the old logo and neither game version nor information is available. The logo has also been removed from the game itself.
This particular manufacturer has previously stated that
"games on these platforms are unauthorized copies and do not belong to the infrastructure. The games are provided by operators who use outdated logos, altered user interfaces (eg non-standard spin buttons and misplaced bet fields). The provider has not approved the distribution and has no connection to these websites"

I've been playing at Kent Casino since January of this year. This casino attracts me with its large number of bonuses and the terms and conditions for those bonuses. Most bonuses have low wagering requirements, although wagering is required for real money. I also like that Kent pays out winnings quickly. Withdrawals are usually processed within 30 minutes.
Another advantage of Kent Casino is its huge selection of providers. All the top providers are available. New slots appear quickly at Kent. The project's website is very user-friendly and will be easy to navigate even for a beginner.

I play at Cat Casino all the time. It's one of my favorites. It has a simple, easy-to-use, and intuitive website. The multiple filters for finding the slots you need are very convenient.
Cat Casino always offers a lot of bonuses, but some of them are downright weak in terms of max cashout. Withdrawals are processed quickly, especially in cryptocurrency. I've never had any issues with payouts.
Last year, Cat Casino released an app, and I now play through it - it's very convenient.

I've been playing at online casinos for over a year now. Overall, my experience is positive the main thing is to choose a reputable platform. I liked that withdrawals are fast, usually within 24 hours. Bonuses are indeed offered, but it's important to read the wagering requirements. Support responds fairly quickly, and they've helped resolve deposit issues a couple of times. There are plenty of games slots, live casino everything works smoothly. Winning is possible, but you need to understand that this isn't a stable income, but rather entertainment. The main thing is not to gamble with your last money.

On July 7th, 2026, I registered an account at BigBoost Casino. I initially tried to deposit using my bank card, but the transaction failed. Immediately after, I successfully deposited an amount equivalent to 1000 NOK using cryptocurrency via my verified Binance account.

Shortly after the deposit was credited, I received an automated email stating that my account was permanently closed and my funds were being withheld due to a breach of "Clause 17" in their Terms and Conditions. The email did not specify which sub-clause I allegedly breached, nor did it ask for any verification.

BigBoost has completely ignored my emails and is currently holding my deposit without giving me a chance to verify myself or play.

Signed up to Starzbet a month ago mostly to bet on the NHL and spin some slots. The platform itself is actually pretty good, the sports lines are solid and they have all the main games I usually play.

My only real issue was the withdrawal process. I requested a cashout via crypto, but they still blocked it until I went through full KYC. But the next cashouts went totally smooth, so I can highly recommend this one

I can’t with a clear conscience recommend fieryplay casino with the experiences I’ve had with them. I will start by saying I had some great wins, but when you try to withdraw it takes a long time, they also leave the withdrawal amount in your active balance for a long period of time seemingly to try get you to play through it. The customer service has solved 1 out of 10/16 problems I’ve had while on site so they are useless. I have over €10 thousand worth of real money bets on the site in less than a month. I have received 1 €200 no wager bonus and 4 €20 x40 wager bonuses which really shows how much they value anyone with a high level of play. They don’t really want genuine customers as their rewards show. The player level up system is also very very hard to work through. You only receive 1 point for every €5 spent compared to other sites that offer 1 to 1. I have gambled on different sites for the last 12 years and this casino by far is the worse for looking after customers. I would not recommend it to any serious gamblers

Our latest online casino reviews for Canadian players

We review new online casinos as they launch in Canada. Here are the most recent ones we've tested.

  1. Beazt launched in May. Its Very High Safety Index rating bucks the trend for fresh sites. It’s part of the very large Granturo Malta operator group, alongside other highly-rated sites like Caxino, Spinz, and Wildz.
  2. Megaways Casino first appeared online in May. Our review team gave it a High rating on our Safety Index. From Megaways slots to live roulette and crash titles, its got plenty of gaming options.
  3. Slot Spice made its debut in May. Like Megaways Casino, it ranks in the High category on our Safety Index. Its six-part casino welcome bonus offers new players deposit matches and up to 1,100 free spins.

How our Safety Index ensures we recommend fair online casinos

Our Safety Index is the unique online casino rating system we use at Casino Guru. Our independent team of 25+ reviewers prioritizes safety, reliability, and fairness. We only recommend sites with a Safety Index rating of at least 7.5.

If a casino has at least five player reviews, it also gets a user feedback score. Players rank casinos on a five-point scale. We then average these into an overall rating from terrible to excellent.

There are five main factors we consider for the Safety Index element of our casino reviews:

  1. Size of the casino
  2. Player complaints
  3. Unfair practices and restrictions
  4. Positive casino qualities
  5. Related casinos

Here's how each of these considerations impact our Canadian online casino reviews.

Size of the casino

Size refers to the casino's revenue and player base. More established casinos are generally safer for big wagers, as they're more capable of paying out large winnings. Smaller sites may struggle to make reliable casino payouts of larger amounts, especially jackpots, due to their lower revenues.

When financial data is available publicly, we calculate revenue using it. If not, we apply our fine-tuned formula to estimate it using visitor numbers and player bases. We take the last four years into consideration, favouring established casinos with proven stability.

Expert insight: Smaller casinos aren't necessarily unsafe, unreliable, or untrustworthy. It just means that there'd be more doubt about their ability to pay out if you win a large sum.

Player complaints

We keep tabs on players' complaints to see how online casinos handle disputes. We log each complaint, assess it for fairness, and score it based on the casino's response and the amount of money involved. Complaints add negative points to a casino's Safety Index rating.

We also factor in how old complaints are. Recent unresolved issues carry more weight. Our experts measure complaint volume relative to the casino's size. That's because more established casinos naturally get more complaints.

We use casino size and player complaints to calculate the base Safety Index for each site. We then consider additional factors to add or deduct points and decide the final score.

Expert insight: Stronger licensing authorities are more likely to help resolve disputes. We factor this in if a casino is uncooperative with a complainant directly or via mediation.

Unfair practices and restrictions

Our experts assess casinos' practices and flag anything unfair or restrictive. In our reviews of online casinos, we've deducted points for:

  • Unfair rules – If they affect players when the casino enforces them.
  • Hidden rules – If they aren't in the T&Cs and the casino enforces them.
  • Low win limits – If they disadvantage most players and a regulator doesn't require them.
  • Low withdrawal limits – If they mean players must unfairly wait extended periods to get winnings.
  • Poor customer support – If it substantially impacts players' online gambling experiences.
  • Blacklists – If the inclusion is valid and relevant to the casino's current operations.
  • Fake games – If they pay out less winnings due to tampering.
  • No or fake licence – As it means the casino is untrustworthy and doesn't follow any regulations.

We also consider whether any laws or regulations justify a normally unfair practice.

Expert insight: If a casino imposes win limits, we assess whether they affect jackpot payouts. High enough limits or exemptions for jackpot payouts usually indicate fairer play.

Positive casino qualities

Our experts don't just make negative adjustments to Safety Index ratings. If an online casino review reveals a site surpasses its commitments, we consider that.

For example, we occasionally encounter instances where a casino pays out even when it doesn't have to. This may happen when a player accidentally breaks a rule.

If the rule is fair, the casino has every right not to pay out. If it chooses to do so anyway, this is a sign it's operating in good faith.

When we find situations like this, it positively impacts the online casino's Safety Index rating.

Expert insight: Casinos with land-based offices or venues can earn bonus points. We consider this a sign they're stable and trustworthy. However, it's rare for us to see this in most of Canada.

Related casinos

Shared ownership, management, or affiliate programs link many real money online casinos. The Safety Index takes these relationships into account by considering combined revenues and complaints.

A smaller casino, for example, within a high-revenue group may benefit from the group's payout ability. On the other hand, complaints at one casino can signal issues across related sites. Ownership links carry more weight than shared affiliate programs.

Expert insight: Complaint patterns, restrictive policies, and rebranded rogue sites sometimes appear when we assess casino groups. This helps us flag unsafe operators.

You can rest assured that we regularly update our online casino ratings. We retest high-rated casinos more often to ensure they're still offering a quality experience.

Expert view: How our Safety Index helps you make smart choices

Safer gambling is customer care. The Safety Index matters because it turns complex data into something players can actually use: showing which sites act responsibly, which don't, and how seriously each takes player protection.

It helps people choose platforms that value their wellbeing, not just their wagers. That matters because when players feel safe, they stay informed, stay in control, and come back by choice, not by chance.

How our online casino reviews bring you the full picture

Now you know how our Safety Index works, it's time to explore what else our Canadian casino reviews cover.

Bonuses to boost your bankroll

I look for Canadian online casino bonuses that offer above-average value to players. For instance, a no deposit deal might give you $35 worth of free spins for signing up. That's 250% more value than any standard Canadian no deposit bonuses worth $10 provide. If you must wager your winnings fewer times than the 35x average to withdraw them, that’s a plus, too.

If you're ready to fund your account, many casinos will match your first deposit of up to $1,000 at a 100% rate. You might also get up to 200 free spins. Play periods of 5–10 days are a big positive. Some sites may offer slightly more in bonus funds but just 48 hours to use them. Its best to steer clear of promotions with restrictive terms.

My casino review process also considers promotions you can take advantage of once you’ve settled in at a site. Some casinos offer reload bonuses or let live casino players claim back 10% of their net losses each week. Poorer sites, by comparison, don't reward fresh deposits or return any losses if your luck's not in.

Expert insight: Always check that games you like and understand count towards clearing wagering requirements. Often, for instance, live dealer casino games only count 0–20%. So, you might spend hours playing ones you don't enjoy, which could cost you potential winnings.

Fair casino games that entertain

I expect to see at least 500–1,000 real money casino games available at any reputable site. These range from simple slots and table titles to live casino options and next-generation games.

The largest offshore casinos offer more than 40,000 games from 75+ trusted software providers. These include player favourites like NetEnt, Nolimit City, Play'n GO, and Spinomenal. You can even try casino games for free via demo modes.

Midsize casinos provide 5,000–10,000+ games. More curated sites offer around 1,000 titles. Quality, though, always outweighs quantity when I'm testing a casino's games library.

I ensure real software providers supply a casino’s collection of games. I also make a note if the site provides evidence of auditing by bodies like eCOGRA.

Expert insight: Testing how casinos perform on mobile devices is a key part of my review process. Games must load quickly, remain stable, and offer crystal-clear graphics even when I'm using my mobile data.

Painless payment methods

On average, sites in Canada offer at least eight trusted online casino payment methods. These should include familiar favourites like Interac and Mastercard, as well as e-wallets such as MiFinity. Crypto options, including Bitcoin and Tether, are now widely available as well.

I prefer to see sites with broad deposit limits, starting as low as $10. Deposits must also hit your account instantly. It's essential withdrawal limits are reasonable, too, for small or large winnings.

I apply the above rules to decide whether a site sets a good standard for Canadian online casinos. For example, a good casino might offer 12 trusted payment methods, with deposits starting at $10. Withdrawals may begin at $20 and, crucially, be unlimited if you break them into $4,000 chunks.

CAD withdrawals generally take 1-3 business days. For players looking for fast casino payouts, I recommend hybrid currency casinos with crypto options. Tests show these casinos can process crypto withdrawals within an hour.

Expert insight: When possible, I always use ID to verify my account straight after joining a casino. Doing this ensures my withdrawal requests process faster as the site's already sure of my identity.

Play with peace of mind

I ensure casinos hold valid licences wherever they're available in Canada. For example, I'll only recommend legitimate Ontario casino sites, like BetMGM, with iGaming Ontario (iGO) approval.

In other provinces, I verify licensing for offshore casinos. This includes accreditation from reputable bodies like the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC) and the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).

On-site security is a factor as well. Single Socket Layer (SSL) encryption is crucial for protecting your personal and financial information. It's also great to see two-factor authentication (2FA) to keep your account secure.

My online casino reviews also take the responsible gambling measures available into account. Leading sites, for example, provide limit-setting tools, the option to self-exclude, and links to external resources.

Expert insight: Alberta will follow Ontario in launching a fully regulated gambling market in 2026. Until then, stick with the trusted Alberta online casinos that we recommend with high Safety Index ratings.

Speedy, stable mobile play

Two-thirds of Canada's 21 million-plus online casino players play on phones and tablets. So, I always ensure operators provide mobile casino sites built with HTML5 technology. If a downloadable app's available, I'll review that, too.

Top online casinos load in seconds and adapt seamlessly to mobile browsers, such as Safari and Chrome. They're easy to get around, with simple designs and responsive buttons.

Mobile casinos must feature at least 90% of the games, like real money slots, available on desktop. They also offer easy access to bonuses, customer support, and payment methods. These include mobile-first choices like Apple and Google Pay.

You'll find that mobile casino apps are more commonly available in Ontario than the rest of Canada. I'll download them from the App Store, Google Play Store, or as an APK file from the casino's website. I make a special note of apps that don't take up too much storage while providing a well-rounded experience.

Expert insight: I always advise enjoying mobile casinos on secure Wi-Fi connections. It helps reduce the risk of games or payments crashing, no matter how stable the site or app is.

Help is on hand

Customer support can make or break your experience at Canadian gambling sites. I factor it into my online casino reviews to test each site's ability to provide help when it's needed.

I expect to have access to live chat, email support, and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) as a bare minimum. Tests show representatives at top casinos respond via live chat with helpful, informed answers within minutes. Email responses for more complex queries, meanwhile, should arrive within 24 hours.

Some sites go a step further than most Canadian online casinos I've reviewed. They allow online or phone calls for support enquiries. Other casinos give me the option to reach out to representatives via Telegram or WhatsApp.

We regularly reevaluate customer support at sites and apps as part of our online casino review process. This ensures our casino ratings remain accurate.

Expert insight: We send at least three queries to each casino during every review. We then retest them with fresh questions on new subjects to ensure they're up to date and ready to solve customers' issues.

The overall experience

From signing up and collecting bonuses, to playing games and cashing out winnings, we assess every aspect of gambling with a casino. We'll pinpoint a site or app's best features, while shining light on areas for improvement. That way, we can confidently recommend safe, reliable, and fun casinos without hesitation in Canada.

Expert insight: Casinos always have the potential to improve or get worse. That's why we regularly update our online casino reviews to bring you the latest information and ratings.

Read casino reviews, compare sites, and more: Expert tips

Now you understand our casino reviews better, here are some of my own dos and don'ts to keep in mind. Consider them before you deposit real money and start playing at an online casino.

Play responsibly after reading our online casino reviews

It's important to play responsibly wherever you gamble. Below are some of the main things to keep in mind:

  1. Treat gambling as a form of entertainment, not a way to make money. Casinos exist to make money, and the odds are stacked against the player. You can beat the odds in the short term, but over the long term, the casino's advantage will win. It's important to understand this.
  2. Never gamble more than you can afford to lose. Set a budget of disposable funds for gambling and don't exceed it. Don't sacrifice essentials like food and housing to have more money for gambling. And never borrow money to gamble or chase your losses. This is one of the easiest ways to turn a relatively modest loss into a large one. If you need help with this, consider setting limits on the amount of money and time you can spend at a casino.
  3. Watch out for symptoms of problem gambling or gambling addiction and be honest about them. The earlier you recognize them, the easier it will be to get a handle on things. If you find you're experiencing symptoms of problem gambling, consider getting professional help.
  4. Be aware of the resources to help with problem gambling and gambling addiction, and don't be afraid to use them. In Canada, you can call 613-739-1566 to contact the Canada Safety Council.
