One of the newest casinos on the block, Legiano is already a player favourite thanks to its ongoing promos, crypto options, and smooth mobile play. See what I thought of Legiano after spending a few weeks exploring its many offerings.

My first impressions of Legiano
Legiano impressed me right away, so I wasn't surprised to see it earn a Safety Index score of 9.0 out of 10, which puts it in the Very High safety tier. The score reflects fair bonus terms, strong revenue with a solid payout record, and no blacklist issues.
The rating makes the site one of the safest Canadian real money casinos, ahead of similar ones such as Spinsy (8.2) and Supabet (8.0). A few complaints about delayed withdrawals stop it from matching top performers like Lemon Casino (9.8) and LuckyWins (9.6). Still, Legiano finds itself in the top 12% of all casinos, which is no easy task.
The welcome bonus is decent, offering a 100% matched bonus up to $750 and 200 free spins. However, it doesn't reach the same level as the LuckyWins Casino bonus (up to $8,000 and 500 free spins) or JustCasino's welcome package (up to $5,000 and 400 free spins).
I also enjoyed the weekly reloads and cashback, plus extras like Bonus Crabs, the Bonus Shop, and Legiano Clash, a unique card-collecting battle game I haven't seen elsewhere.
Another highlight was the game library's 37,800+ titles, including 370+ exclusive games. These are remarkable figures, especially among new online casinos. I liked that both casino gaming and sports betting are offered on the platform, which isn't a feature offered at major casinos like Jackpot City, Spin Casino, or Lemon Casino. I also appreciated how the site supports both fiat and crypto transactions, with Interac deposits starting at just $10.
Where the casino excels
- Safety Index of 9.0 – A Higher Safety Index rating than many top Canadian competitors, like Spinsy (8.2), Monro Casino (8.0), Jackpot City (8.0), and JustCasino (6.8).
- Weekly reload and cashback – Returning players can claim weekly promos like 15% cashback up to $4,500 and 50 free spins on $30+ deposits from Monday to Thursday. Unlike sites such as Monro or TonyBet, I found JustCasino always had something up for grabs.
- 37,800+ games – Great selection of games, covering slots, table games, live dealer titles, scratch cards, and more, similar in size to Supabet and Mafia Casino.
- Fiat and crypto banking – Offers flexibility compared to fiat-only casinos, like Jackpot City or Spin Casino.
- 24/7 live chat – The live chat provides real-time help in minutes for players. Waiting around for an email response to a simple question is a real pet peeve of mine, so this was a real positive.
- Special promotions – Legiano Clash is a unique feature that adds a twist to standard gameplay. I also loved the Live Trivia Game, with cash prizes for the winners. I only managed to catch it once, but it takes place every Tuesday and Thursday at 9pm GMT.
What lets it down
- Unoriginal design – Uses the same format as Supabet, Spinsy, and Vegasino, so there's little difference in layout, games, and promotions.
- Small welcome bonus – The maximum bonus of $750 is lower than that of major competitors, like JustCasino, LuckyWins, Jackpot City, or Spin Casino, which offer up to $1,500–5,000.
- No phone support – Unlike Tooniebet, there's no option to speak to an agent directly via phone. It's not an option I personally always go for, but I know that some players really value the personal touch.
A welcome bonus with modest size but solid value
After signing up, I claimed the casino welcome bonus, which included a 100% matched bonus up to $750, 200 free spins, and 1 Bonus Crab. It's the same offer that you'll find at other top Canadian casinos like Supabet, Spinsy, and Vegasino.
However, there are bigger offers available. There are plenty of casinos that match your deposit into the thousands of dollars. The JustCasino sign-up bonus is one example, where you can get up to $5,000 in bonus funds and 400 free spins.
Claiming the bonus was simple. I made the minimum deposit of $30 and activated the offer in the "My Bonus" section. I also spotted that if you deposit just $15, you'll still get the Bonus Crab, but not the deposit match and spins.
Legiano's bonus spins are handed out in batches of 20 per day for 10 days, so I had to log in consecutively. Usually, I like to use Skrill to deposit, so it was disappointing to find that both Skrill and Neteller are excluded from this promotion.
The matched bonus has a 35x wagering requirement attached to your funds and deposit before you can make a withdrawal. Free spin winnings, meanwhile, require a rollover of 40x. That's about standard compared to similar sites like Supabet or Vegasino, but not as high as TonyBet or PlayAmo, where it goes up to 50x. You have 10 days to complete the release requirements for each bonus.
Overall, I felt comfortable with both the 35x requirements and the 10 days I was given to fulfill them. I hate feeling rushed or like I'm being forced to play, but these conditions just aligned with my usual gaming schedule nicely.
For now, there isn't a Legiano Casino no deposit bonus offered for new players.
Where the bonuses shine
- Bonus funds & free spins – Some sites, like Jackpot City or Spin Casino, only offer a matched bonus in their welcome bonus. Having both makes the offer feel more premium.
- Reasonable 35x wagering requirement – When I joined TonyBet, I got a similar welcome bonus but with higher 50x playthrough. That extra 15x might not feel like a lot, but it really makes a difference. In the end, I didn't manage to clear my bonus cash in time, and I decided to just forfeit my bonus.
- 10 days to complete requirements – Other sites, like JustCasino, only give you seven days to complete the wagering requirements for the welcome bonus. Again, those extra three days of breathing room make a big difference.
- 1 Bonus Crab – Usually, you'll find deposit match bonuses or free spins for a welcome bonus, like at JustCasino or LuckyWins. Legiano offers 1 Bonus Crab, which gives you a random extra bonus. It's not a huge deal, but it's a fun extra.
Where improvements are needed
- Skrill and Neteller excluded – Many casinos, such as JustCasino, don't exclude specific payment methods from claiming bonuses. It didn't affect me personally since I tend to switch up my payment methods, but I dislike seeing players excluded.
- Single-deposit bonus – Some sites, like Jackpot City and Spin Casino, split their welcome bonus across multiple deposits. These bonuses are great because they stretch the value out for longer, but Legiano hasn't introduced one yet.

Ongoing bonuses
Legiano offers players a variety of rewards and contests. As soon as I logged in, I could view and take part in several options, including:
- Weekly Reload – Every week from Monday to Thursday, deposit $30 and get 50 free spins on your first deposit. Any winnings from your free spins come with 40x playthrough, so it's a little disappointing that it's even higher than the welcome bonus. Still, I like the low $30 minimum requirement. JustCasino's similar Milky Way reload bonus only kicks in if you deposit $50 or more.
- Weekend Reload – Every week from Friday to Sunday, deposit a minimum of $50 to get a 50% bonus up to $1,050 and 50 free spins. Like the weekly promo, but even more valuable at weekends, and therefore worth the higher minimum requirement in my opinion.
- Live Cashback – Every week, get 25% cashback up to $300 on unlucky bets for live dealer games. It's pretty rare to see a promo designed especially for live games. In fact, more often they are excluded from promotions, like not counting towards wagering requirements.
- Tournaments – Join tournaments and play qualifying games for a chance to win a share of the prize pool. Legiano does a great job leveraging its ancient warrior theme to advertise these. It gives them a real, "Are you not entertained?" twist that's more exciting than the more generic tournaments at casinos like Casinova.
- Bonus Crab – On your first deposit of at least $15, get a Bonus Crab credit to catch a prize of real money, bonus money, free spins, or coins.
- Bonus Shop – Collect coins through depositing and wagering to exchange for rewards, like bonus money, free spins, and free bets.
- Legiano Clash – A special game where you use cards over time to battle other players to get bonuses. Since I only spent a week or so playing at Legiano, I didn't make a ton of progress with this promo, but it's really promising and unique. If you ever played the Age of Empires series back in the day (guilty), you'll love it.
- VIP program – Progress through five levels to earn perks like a personal VIP manager, higher withdrawal limits, personalized offers, on-site promotions, and cashback. Similar to Clash, I didn't really play long enough to make much progress. However, I love the way each level is represented by a different rank in the army, like Consul and Centurion.
Limited time offers to enjoy
I also came across some limited-time promotions. These tend to change daily or weekly, but they give you a good sense of what the casino typically offers:
- Gold Rush Bonus – Play eligible table games to get a $1.50 bonus during the qualifying period.
- Roulette Run – Play eligible roulette games to climb the leaderboard and be in with a chance of winning a share of $12,000.
- VoltEnt Drops – Play VoltEnt games for the chance to get a random multiplier prize.
- 1M Spin Splash Win $25,000 – Qualifying deposits earn tickets to the weekly draws.
Expert tip: Legiano is a great casino for micro-stakes players, thanks to its $10 minimum Interac deposits. But don't forget you'll need to spend at least $30 upfront to trigger the welcome bonus.
Expansive library with a loaded live casino
While exploring Legiano's library, I found an impressive number of 37,800+ real money casino games. Slots make up the bulk with over 32,700 titles, but there are also 800+ table games, 1,400+ live dealer titles, and a few specialty games like scratch cards.
Our reviews of Spinsy, Supabet, and Vegasino uncovered that this is similar to what you'll find at those sites (all 36,100+). Meanwhile, it outstrips JustCasino (10,000+), and dwarfs Spin Casino's library of 1,000+ games.
The casino also features 370+ exclusive titles, giving you a unique gaming experience. I tried out a few of these, like Legacy of Lost Gold, Three Pots of Luna, Golden Piggy Farm, and Jack Ryder Scarabs of Wealth, all of which provided a nice break from the regular titles that you see at every casino.
Maybe inspired by Legiano's classical theme, I found myself gravitating to ancient battle slots, like Blades of Rome from Popiplay. I loved how the heavy stone symbols crunch when they land, and the cascading reels were a neat addition, which triggered extra wins for me.
The main providers are big names like Spinomenal, Play'n GO, Yggdrasil, and Amusnet, which are always reassuring to see. It's easy to explore the library. You can sort by new, popular, exclusive, type, or provider, which narrows down the game selection, so you're not overwhelmed by choice.
Weirdly, the table games section isn't in the main menu where you would expect. Instead, I found it listed next to the real money slots categories, like Megaways and Bonus Buys. It's not a huge deal, but I'd prefer to see it more prominently listed next to Live Casino in the main menu.
I was more than happy with the variety though, including tonnes of variations of blackjack, roulette, and video poker. Thor's Blackjack was a personal favourite, which felt more like a slot game from a design perspective but stuck to classic blackjack gameplay, in an ancient Norse forest.
It's also worth mentioning that Legiano doesn't just offer casino gaming, but also a sportsbook. This makes it an easy choice for players who prefer to have their gaming and sports betting on one platform.
Where the library impresses
- Big library of games – Over 37,800 games, more than Spinsy or Vegasino (both 36,100+). I have to admit that anything over a couple of thousand slots is enough for me, but I never felt close to running out of new games to try.
- 370+ exclusive titles – Games that are exclusive to the platform, which helps Legiano stand out in a crowded market. Brain Washed and Cash Crab were two of my favourites, along with Crazy Streamer, which takes place during an animated live stream. With so many slots inspired by history and mythology, this hyper-modern concept gave me a chuckle.
- Sportsbook available – Casino gaming and sports betting are both offered, unlike major competitors like Jackpot City, LuckyWins, JustCasino, or Lemon Casino. Although I was focused on the casino for my Legiano review, I was impressed by how detailed the sportsbook was. There are thousands of markets for dozens of sports from North America and around the world.
- Well-organized games lobby – I found it very easy to sort games and explore new titles. The sub-categories like Instant Win and Megaways help break up the menu, so I wasn't just constantly scrolling. The provider's page is great for both filtering games and seeing how many are available from each company at just a glance.
- Demo mode available – Play games before using actual money, unlike sites like JustCasino.
Where there's room for improvement
- No live craps – I was disappointed not to find any live craps tables, which is one of my favourites.
- Missing top studios – No Pragmatic Play, Playtech, BGaming, or Novomatic, which are available at other Canadian casinos like JustCasino or PlayAmo.
Test before you play
All non-live games are available in demo mode. Not all sites offer free casino games, so I was pleased that I could try out games at Legiano before using my deposited funds.
The studios driving the action
Legiano's collection features games from 75 top software providers. This is a similar number to what I found in my Supabet and Vegasino reviews. However, the casino boasts fewer supplier giants than JustCasino or LuckyWins. The studios with the most games are Spinomenal (680+), Play'n GO (430+), Yggdrasil (430+), and Fazi (370+), all of which are established providers that lend weight to the menu.
When I'm testing out a casino for the first time, I always start with some games I am very familiar with because I know exactly how they should perform. I went with Rich Wilde and the Tome of Insanity this time and was happy to see the crisp graphics and fast loading speeds I know Play'n GO provides.
Other popular providers include Microgaming, Hacksaw Gaming, Betsoft, Relax Gaming, Booming Games, and Playson. I did notice that a few major providers were missing, like Pragmatic Play, Playtech, BGaming, and Novomatic. They offer their titles at other Canadian casinos like JustCasino or PlayAmo.
I found it interesting that the exclusive games came from a variety of different providers, including smaller names I wasn't very familiar with, like Fazi and Shady Lady. It's impressive that Legiano has gone to the extra effort of not only working with providers like this but hosting their games exclusively.
Live casino breakdown
The live casino is on the larger side with more than 1,400 titles, when compared to leading casinos like JustCasino (1,000+) or Monro (600+). It covers a wide variety, as I came across multiple variants of roulette, blackjack, baccarat, dice, and poker.
There are also 190+ game shows, which I enjoyed exploring. Football Thrill was my favourite, which has simple win-lose-or-draw gameplay inspired by soccer. I find the hosts for live game shows tend to be that much more high-energy compared with classic table games like blackjack, and that was exactly the case with this game from Amusnet.
I also liked seeing the international tables with dealers who speak other languages. Even though English is fine for me, it's good to see Legiano being inclusive.
Expert tip: Whenever I explore a new casino, I don't just stick to the popular games. Smaller studios can have some hidden gems that are easy to overlook. I find that sorting by provider is a good way to find titles that I wouldn't usually try.
Deposit and withdraw with fiat and crypto methods
When I tested deposits, I found plenty of online casino payment methods. I used Interac and liked the $10 minimum. This is half the $20 minimum at JustCasino or Vegasino. You can also deposit using Mastercard, MuchBetter, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, and Neosurf, with a minimum deposit of $20 for most options.
A few cryptocurrencies are also accepted, including Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dogecoin. The minimum for Bitcoin is $45, which felt steep compared to other crypto casinos like JustCasino. On the positive side, I appreciated that both fiat and crypto were available. If you prefer sites just accepting CAD, check out our Jackpot City and Spin Casino reviews.
In total, including the different cryptocurrencies, I counted 15 banking options. The average for CA casinos is eight, so this is a healthy number.
Making a deposit went smoothly, and there were no fees involved. Withdrawals were also straightforward. Interac, PlayID, MuchBetter, bank transfer, Skrill, Jetonbank, MiFinity, Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dogecoin are all supported. From experience, crypto was by far the fastest, hitting my wallet within minutes once approved. The fiat currencies took a few days to be processed.
Where payments are painless
- Fiat and crypto available – Unlike Jackpot City or Spin Casino, you can choose between either fiat or crypto payments.
- Quick withdrawals – Crypto is supported for payouts via Utorg SKRL. This makes payouts faster than at fiat-only casinos like TonyBet.
- Low minimum deposit for Interac – Lower than casinos like JustCasino or Vegasino, where the minimum is $20.
- Popular Canadian methods – Interac, MuchBetter, MiFinity, and Neosurf are accepted, which are popular in Canada. Sites like Lemon Casino or Jackpot City don't offer the same range.
Where I felt short-changed
- High minimum deposit for Bitcoin – Minimum deposit of $45 for Bitcoin, which is steep compared to sites like JustCasino, where it is around $16.
- Few cryptocurrencies – Only Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dogecoin are available, whereas crypto casinos like JustCasino, LuckyWins, or PlayAmo have over five options.

Expert tip: Legiano lets you withdraw without full verification, skipping document checks and approval delays. While faster, we prefer casinos to fully verify identities to ensure player safety and enforce responsible gambling.
Is Legiano a safe bet?
Legiano Casino received a Safety Index score of 9.0 from our reviewers. This gives it a Very High rating and not many casinos achieve it in our online casino reviews. But like at any casino, there are a few things to consider.
We've classified it as a very big casino with estimated annual revenues over $20 million. That kind of size gives players reassurance, as bigger casinos tend to have fewer issues with cash flow and payouts. We also judged the terms and conditions to be fair, and importantly, Legiano hasn't appeared on any industry blacklists.
It didn't receive full marks, which is largely based on its withdrawal policy. Players are capped at $750 per day or $10,500 per month, which is limited compared to leading Canadian casinos. For context, LuckyWins has a weekly limit of $12,000 and a monthly limit of $24,000.
Complaints also played a part in the score. We reviewed 165 complaints, mostly related to delayed or withheld withdrawals. That said, these disputes were relatively small compared to the casino's overall revenue size, and none went unresolved.
Our Safety Index score mainly focuses on fairness, size of the casino, and complaints. This rating gives you an idea of a site's reliability and the security it offers players. Beyond the factors that influence our Safety Index ratings, let's look at some more of the ways we test a site's legitimacy.
The casino's strengths
- Very High Safety Index rating – A high score that reflects Legiano's size, fair terms, and relatively low number of upheld complaints compared to similarly-rated casinos like Spinsy, Monro Casino, and Jackpot City.
- Detailed responsible gaming page – Includes advice, warning signs, external help links, and underage gambling measures, making it more comprehensive than those found at casinos like JustCasino.
- Licence by the Anjouan Gaming Board – It might not be the strongest licence, but it is still better than operating without one. Many casinos, such as Krikodeps, are unlicensed and are blacklisted by us for shady practices.
- Big operator – With estimated annual revenues over $20 million, Legiano's size gives players more reassurance than smaller or newer online casinos.
Where things can be stronger
- Low withdrawal limits – Players can only cash out $750 per day or $10,500 per month, which is more restrictive than casinos like LuckyWins, where the weekly limit is $12,000, and the monthly limit is $24,000.
- Unspecified auditors – Legiano doesn't name independent testing agencies such as iTech Labs or eCOGRA, like other leading sites like JustCasino, PlayAmo, or Jackpot City.
Further checks I made
Security features
Legiano's privacy policy confirms that administrative, technical, and physical safeguards are used to protect player data, although it is a little vague. As a comparison, competitors such as Jackpot City or Spin Casino go into detail about specific measures like encryption, internal and external audits, and network topology. Legiano's approach is less transparent. We also couldn't find a way to set up two-factor authentication (2FA), which is disappointing.
Responsible gaming tools
The responsible gaming page includes advice for staying in control, self-exclusion information, a checklist of warning signs, links to external organizations, and details about underage gambling. It's more detailed than sites like JustCasino, which only provides a short overview. But it doesn't offer control tools, like deposit, loss, or wager limits, which are available at leading casinos like LuckyWins.
Licensing
Legiano is licensed by the Anjouan Gaming Board. While valid, it isn't as respected as the Curaçao Gaming Authority, used by sites like JustCasino and LuckyWins. It also falls short of Canadian regulators such as the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC), which is known for stronger player protections. Leading casinos like Jackpot City and Spin City hold licences from the KGC and iGaming Ontario (iGO), giving them more credibility than Legiano.
Third-party audits
On the site, it states games run on a Random Number Generator (RNG) assessed and approved by independent third parties. However, unlike casinos that name their testing agencies, such as iTech Labs at JustCasino or eCOGRA at Jackpot City, it doesn't disclose which bodies carry out these checks.
Expert tip: I always head to the privacy policy to see what security features are listed, and how forthcoming the casinos are about the specifics. You can usually check for the casino's licence at the bottom of the site.
Smooth and straightforward mobile gaming
When I tested Legiano on my phone, I had to use the mobile browser since there isn't a dedicated app. This puts it behind some Canadian competitors, like Jackpot City or Spin Casino, which have standalone online casino apps.
That said, using the site on a mobile browser worked well. It's just adapted for the smaller screen, but the full game library and features are all the same. I had no issue switching between sections, slots, or live dealer tables.
The pages and games loaded on my phone just as fast as the desktop site. Even more impressively, the battlefield animations that greet you when you log in and are a big part of the Legiano aesthetic also played seamlessly on the smaller screen.
If you've played at Supabet, Spinsy, or Vegasino before, Legiano will feel familiar. Even though they all have a similar design, games, and bonuses, they're not technically sister-sites. They're just built on the same white-label platform that recycles the same design and features across different operators.
However, the design doesn't feel as polished or modern as top competitors, like JustCasino or LuckyWins.
Playing on the go pros
- Fully accessible – All games and features can be accessed via your phone.
- Reliable performance – Mobile play is stable without any freezing, whereas I found mobile games at Supabet quite laggy.
- Easy-to-use site – The layout and design are sleeker and easier to use than sites like Lemon Casino and PlayAmo.
- Unique theme – The Roman-inspired design adds more character than the generic look of sites like Monro or TonyBet.
- Seamless animations – Legiano's battlefield scenes loaded perfectly on the smaller screen.
The casino's drawbacks
- No Legiano casino app – Unlike Jackpot City or Spin Casino, you can't download a dedicated app.
- White-label similarities – Shares the same templates as sites like Supabet, Spinsy, or Vegasino, which can feel less original.
Expert tip: Legiano recommends using Google Chrome to access the website. I tested this and found Chrome offered the easiest navigation and quick loading times, particularly while on mobile. Other browsers worked fine, but pages occasionally lagged and didn't format as cleanly.
Around the clock help with live chat
You can reach customer support through live chat and email. There isn't a phone number, which you can find at a few Canadian casinos like Tooniebet, but phone support isn't common with global operators generally.
The live chat worked well. Even though there was a short queue, I never felt like I was waiting around. An agent usually replied within a couple of minutes. That's far quicker than the hour-long response times I've waited on at sites like JustCasino. The agents I spoke to gave me clear answers and were polite.
Email support is also available. It took 12 hours for a response, which is standard for this channel. Unlike casinos like LuckyWins or Lemon Casino, which have short FAQ sections, Legiano has a proper help centre which provides useful information about common topics.
Where support is supreme
- 24/7 live chat – Responses within minutes, far quicker than sites like JustCasino, where the wait can be over an hour.
- Proper Help Centre – More detailed than the short FAQ pages at LuckyWins or Lemon Casino.
- Clear and polite agents – They answered all my questions in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Email replies in a day – Decent for this channel, can take a few days at other Canadian casinos, like Spinsy.
- See queue position – Instead of wondering when you'll be connected to an agent, the chat shows you your position in the queue.
Where it's lacking
- No phone number – Unlike at Tooniebet, there's no phone support to speak directly to an agent.
- No social media support – You can't get in touch with Legiano through social media.

Expert tip: Whenever I contacted the Legiano support, I clicked the "Email Transcript" option in the bottom menu after the conversation was finished to get a copy sent right to my email. Having a record can be useful if you need to follow up later, especially about withdrawals.
How to register in four steps
Creating an account for my Legiano Casino review took me a few minutes, but the process was simple enough. It did take me a marginally longer than at other Canadian casinos, like JustCasino or PlayAmo, as I provided more information right away:
- Visit the Legiano website – Open Legiano Casino and click the green "REGISTER" button at the top of the site.
- Choose your welcome bonus – Select the casino welcome bonus, which is 100% up to $750, 200 free spins, and 1 Bonus Crab.
- Create account – Next, you'll be asked to provide your email address and create a password.
- Accept the terms – Then, read and accept the terms and conditions, and the privacy notice.
- Enter information – Finally, enter your first name, last name, date of birth, gender, country, currency, phone number, and full address.
Legiano is a solid all-rounder with no big red flags
My experience with Legiano was largely very positive. The welcome bonus isn't as big compared to those at other Canadian casinos, like JustCasino or LuckyWins. However, Legiano makes up for this with frequent reloads, cashback, and unique promotions.
The games library is vast with over 37,800 titles. Even the live casino felt large compared to JustCasino's 1,000+ tables or Monro Casino's 600+. Another highlight was the flexible banking options, with both fiat and cryptocurrency available and Interac deposits from just $10.
In terms of security, Legiano is licensed by the Anjouan Gaming Board, which isn't the strongest regulator. But it still has a licence, fair terms, large revenue, and few serious complaints.
Overall, Legiano doesn't disappoint with safety, a decent library of games, good promotions, and fast support. We place its Safety Index rating at 9.0, just behind the scores our LuckyWins and Lemon Casino reviews resulted in, making it a reliable choice for CA players.
