Since its 2023 launch, JustCasino has quickly made its mark in the gaming world. With over 10,000+ games, an extensive live casino, and exclusive titles, I spent a few weeks exploring its offerings. Read on for my expert verdict.
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Launch year | 2023 |
| Safety Index rating | 6.8 |
| Provinces available | All except Ontario |
| Welcome bonus | 100% up to $5,000 and 400 free spins |
| Game count | 10,000+ |
| Providers with the most games | Pragmatic Play, Games Global, BGaming |
| Average withdrawal speed | 1–2 days |
JustCasino launched in 2023 and quickly built a strong reputation with its sleek space theme, stacked game library, and generous promotions. The welcome bonus caught my eye right away with up to $5,000 in matched funds and 400 free spins. This is far more than at sites like Spinsy, Legiano, or Vegasino, all of which provide up to $750 in bonus cash.
The game library was the second feature to impress me. With over 10,000 titles from 100+ providers, it easily outpaces many Canadian casinos I've tried. For instance, even top casinos like Lemon Casino max out at around 5,400 games.
The fact that JustCasino supports both fiat currency and ten different crypto coins was another perk. Crypto is still an emerging trend in the casino world, so an ample choice is always welcome.
Unfortunately, not everything impressed me. While the platform has an above average Safety Index score of 6.8, it still has room for improvement compared with the top Canadian casinos.
This comes down to what I consider to be somewhat shady bonus terms. JustCasino may void bonuses and winnings if players use strategies like Martingale (which doesn't work long term) or place max bets on high Return to Player (RTP) percentage games to clear wagering.
Casino Guru's Safety Index takes terms like these into account since restrictive rules may lead to unfair treatment of players. The Index doesn't just look at restrictive terms, but also the fairness and transparency of the casino, its size, player complaints, and more.
JustCasino looks great and ticks pretty much all the boxes in terms of games and features. However, it still has some ground to cover when you compare its rating to those our reviews of LuckyWins (9.6) and Lemon Casino (9.8) resulted in.
When I signed up, the welcome package immediately stood out. I was offered $5,000 in matched funds and 400 free spins across my first five deposits. That is far higher than the casino welcome bonuses at Canadian competitors like Supabet and Legiano, which go up to $750 with 200 spins, or Jackpot City at $1,600.
I found the first two deposits gave the most value. My first deposit was matched up to $500 with 100 spins, and the second was matched up to $500 with 50 spins.
The third bonus was 50% up to $1,000 with 50 spins, the fourth was 25% up to $2,000 with 100 spins, and the fifth was 20% up to $1,000 with 100 spins. To claim each bonus, I had to deposit at least $30. I did not need a bonus code for the first offer, but later ones required codes shown in the casino's promotions section.
The free spins were not credited all at once. Instead, I had to log in daily over four days to collect them, which I found slightly inconvenient. The eligible games also changed, which meant I had to check the terms each time.
Wagering requirements were 40x. This was tougher than the 30x I saw during my Lemon Casino review, but easier than the 50x at Tonybet or PlayAmo. I managed to clear them in six days, though it required a high volume of play.
My matched bonus winnings were capped at $5,000, while winnings from free spins were capped at $300. I was disappointed to see a cap on the matched bonus, since that is less common. I also found the seven-day expiry restrictive. Other casinos often give 14 to 30 days, while my review of Legiano revealed it gives 10.
There is also a high roller welcome bonus. I did not claim it, but I noted it offered 150% up to $6,000 for deposits over $500, 10% cashback for the first week, and a 60-day VIP trial. I didn't go for this one, but I appreciate JustCasino looking out for the high rollers separately.
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Free spins | 400 free spins |
| Bonus amount | Up to $5,000 |
| Wagering requirements | 40x |
| Expiry | 7 days |
| Contribution rates | Slots 100%, Roulette 25%, Video poker 5%, Poker 5%, Crash games 5%, Jackpot games 0%. |
| Other bonuses | VIP welcome bonus, daily promotions, weekly cashback, monthly reload, crypto bonuses |
While there isn't a JustCasino no deposit bonus available, the casino has some decent ongoing promotions that I was automatically opted into as soon as I signed up. Here they are:
There were also plenty of short-term bonuses and promotions up for grabs, which can change slightly over time. It seemed like whatever day of the week I logged in there was a specific bonus waiting to be claimed.
Expert tip: With just seven days to wager, it generally makes sense to stick with high RTP slots since they count 100%. But be careful as JustCasino may void your bonus if it thinks you're using them only to clear requirements.
JustCasino offers a colorful variety of games inside its 10,000+ library. This puts it in the mid-size category alongside the likes of Tooniebet (10,200+). However, it trails casinos such as Supabet, Legiano, and Mafia Casino, all of which have 30,000+ real money casino games.
The scale means endless themes and features, with major providers like Pragmatic Play, BGaming, Playtech, Hacksaw Gaming, Novomatic, and Booming Games. At times, the size felt overwhelming, especially since the main menu has limited filters. More than once, I caught myself scrolling through pages without knowing what to play.
Scrolling past the generic "slots" tab, I found themed collections like "Mythology," "Wolf Games," and "Hollywood." These real money online slots series provided a whole new angle to explore. They brought a freshness to my gaming experience, though I wish they were highlighted in the main menu.
I tested popular slots like Gates of Olympus by Pragmatic and Wanted Dead or a Wild by Hacksaw Gaming. Both loaded quickly and ran smoothly, with crisp graphics. I find playing familiar games is the best way to gauge how a casino performs, and I'm happy to say they were smooth and fast to load, with crisp, vibrant graphics.
Next, I explored the many table games. The categories covered include roulette, blackjack, baccarat, and poker, each with plenty of variations. I also tried sic bo and keno, though I could only find them through the search bar.
Generally speaking, JustCasino's virtual table games stick to a classic and realistic aesthetic, without many bells and whistles. Personally, I prefer to keep the more out-there designs for slots and keep things classic when it comes to blackjack or roulette.
The casino's game collection is powered by over 110 software providers. To put that in perspective, many Canadian casinos, like Supabet or Spinsy, feature around 50 to 60 providers.
The leading studios that you'd expect are here, with the likes of Pragmatic Play, Games Global, BGaming, Playtech, Hacksaw Gaming, and Novomatic supplying hundreds of titles. The casino also has many lesser-known providers, including the likes of Clawbuster, Electric Elephant, InOut, and Nownow, to name a few.
Smaller game providers always provide new and exciting games to try, so I appreciated their inclusion. I also came across a singular exclusive game from BGaming, called JustCasino Wild Cash, which I recommend.
I've got nothing but positive things to say here. I loved being able to dive into familiar favorites, while also having tons of new games at my fingertips waiting to be discovered, too.
Being able to filter by provider is great too. After some testing, I realized that I really liked the minimal but realistic design of Platipus table games. This is a provider I was super familiar with before, and I wound up slowly working my way through every one of its games.
JustCasino has over 1,000 live dealer games, covering blackjack, roulette, game shows, high-stakes games, baccarat, poker, and more. Typically, at a Canadian casino, you might find a few hundred titles, like at Monro (400), or fewer, like at Spin Casino (70), so I was more than impressed with this collection.
The live casino titles are from five top player-favorite studios: Playtech, Pragmatic Play, Absolute Live Gaming, Iconic 21, and Lucky Streak. Playtech is the main provider, supplying over 500 of its titles.
I particularly enjoyed testing out the live game shows, especially titles like Dice City and Snakes & Ladders Live, adding something fresh to the usual live casino classics. I like how the live dealers (or should I say hosts) up the energy and create an engaging experience compared with the more classic blackjack or roulette tables.
Expert tip: With 10,000+ titles, navigation can be tricky. JustCasino's filters are limited, so use the search bar to find specific games. I did this to find sic bo and teen patti, which aren't listed in the menu.
When making a deposit, I was happy with the diversity of options. Canadians can use popular casino payment methods such as Interac, Visa, Mastercard, MuchBetter, MiFinity, and Neosurf. All of which have a minimum deposit of $30.
I also noticed Flexepin was supported, which isn't available at the likes of Casinova or LuckyWins. Flexepin has a lower minimum deposit of $20.
The casino also offers a range of cryptocurrencies. There's also no maximum limit for crypto, whereas there is for fiat currencies. Bitcoin, BNB, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tron, USD Coin, USDT, and Ripple are all accepted, with low minimums.
For example, I could deposit with Bitcoin for as little as 0.0001 (around $16), which is lower than competitors like Legiano or Supabet, where the equivalent amount is $45.
My experience with depositing during my JustCasino review was straightforward, whether using a fiat or crypto method. All the same crypto methods are available for withdrawals, as well as Interac, Inpay, and MiFinity for fiat currencies.
When I tested out withdrawals, the quickest withdrawal methods were by far the cryptocurrencies. Once the team approved them, the crypto was in my wallet within seconds. Using Interac was more convenient, but it did take a few days to be processed.
Adding funds to your account doesn't take long. Just follow these simple steps to get your account topped up:

| Mastercard | $30 | - |
| MiFinity | $30 | 1 to 2 days |
| Neosurf | $30 | - |
| MuchBetter | $30 | - |
| Flexepin | $20 | 1 to 2 days |
| Bitcoin Cash | 0.001 BCH | 1 to 2 days |
| BNB | 0.01 BNB | 1 to 2 days |
| Bitcoin | 0.0001 BTC | 1 to 2 days |

| Tron | 10 TRX | 1 to 2 days |
| USD Coin | 5 USDC | 1 to 2 days |
| USDT | 5 USDT | 1 to 2 days |
| Ripple | 0.001 XRP | 1 to 2 days |
| Inpay | - | 2 to 3 days |
Expert tip: You can deposit and play right after registering, but JustCasino requires verification before withdrawals. It's best to do this early, as mine took 36 hours after submitting ID and proof of address.
The casino has the essentials in place, but there's still room for improvement for its overall security. This is reflected in its Casino Guru's Safety Index, where it scores 6.8, placing it only in the top 52% of casinos we've reviewed.
This sounds fine, but not when you compare it to other Canadian casinos, like Lemon Casino, which has a score of 9.8 out of 10 (top 2%), and LuckyWins, which has a score of 9.6 (top 4%).
The main reasons for JustCasino's subpar score are some unfair terms and conditions buried in the bonus small print, along with a low win limit of $50,000 per day. We've also received 45 complaints about it. Of these, 19 were resolved and none were left unresolved. Most centred around delayed and withheld withdrawals.
As covered, the Safety Index measures complaints and fairness of terms. It also considers operator size. It doesn't cover games, bonuses, or mobile play, so a low score doesn't mean weakness elsewhere. Let's take a look.
Dama N.V. owns JustCasino and we estimate they have the revenue of a medium-sized casino. The company runs many leading sites, including LuckyWins and PlayAmo, both of which have earned higher Safety Index ratings. However, Dama N.V. is not without its own issues. In June 2024, the Curaçao courts initiated bankruptcy proceedings against them, after accusations of withholding winnings for German and Austrian players.
The casino's privacy policy states that encryption, firewalls, and regular security audits are in place to protect sensitive data, but that is the industry standard. Unlike sites such as LuckyWins, two-factor authentication (2FA) isn't offered.
When it comes to responsible gaming, a dedicated page is available that contains a brief paragraph of information and links to external organizations. We prefer Legiano's Responsible Gambling page, which goes into more detail and does a better job of explaining how you can stay safe.
In Canada, JustCasino runs with a Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA) license (OGL/2023/174/0082). While common offshore, it lacks the weight of local regulators like the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC), which enforces stricter standards. Casinos such as Spin Casino and Jackpot City hold such a license. iGaming Ontario (iGO) approves their sites, too, as they run separate ON and Canada-wide platforms.
The platform runs on software certified by iTech Labs, an independent Australian testing agency. This certification ensures that the casino's Random Number Generator (RNG) meets industry requirements for fairness.
Expert tip: Always check bonus terms before signing up. That's how I spotted the bonus rules, which lowered its Safety Index score. Skipping this step could have led to an unpleasant surprise.
There isn't an online casino app for iOS and Android, which puts it behind other Canadian casinos like Jackpot City or Spin Casino. While writing my JustCasino review, I had to use the website through its browser.
However, the website adapted well to mobile use, and everything ran exactly like the desktop version. The entire game library is available from mobile and I'm a big fan of the general design, too. It's sleek, modern, and feels like a proper high-end casino experience.
Of course, I'd prefer if there were a standalone app for sheer convenience, but as the browser site runs this smoothly, it's not a dealbreaker, and I look forward to any release.
Expert tip: For mobile play, I recommend adding JustCasino to your phone's home screen as a browser shortcut. It feels like using a native app by giving you quick access, but it doesn't use up storage.
The casino provides two options: live chat and email. There's also a basic FAQ section, but there's little information for players who need help.
I used the live chat first, expecting a quick response, but it didn't feel "live". It took nearly two hours for someone to reply. This is slow compared to my experiences when I carried out reviews of Vegasino and Legiano, where I received a reply in minutes.
The agent that I spoke to wasn't especially knowledgeable either as I had to push for clear answers. For non-urgent questions, email can also be used, but you'll wait longer for replies.
| Support channel | Response time |
|---|---|
| Live chat | 1 to 2 hours |
| 5 to 6 hours | |
| Social media | N/A |
Signing up was straightforward and didn't take me long. All I had to do was enter my email, date of birth, and phone number. It took me around two minutes before my account was up and running, and I'd put it on par with signing up for similar Canadian casinos.
My experience with JustCasino was positive on the surface, but some deeper security issues hold it back from being right up there with Lemon Casino and Legiano, who are at the top of the market in terms of safety.
The welcome bonus worth up to $5,000 is a clear highlight, far ahead of most competing sites. It's more than enough to get stuck into the impressive library of over 10,000 games, which is more than the likes of Lemon (5,400+) and Spin (1,000+).
JustCasino's ongoing promotions impressed me too, with regular cashback, bonus spins, daily offers, a loyalty program, and a VIP scheme. On top of this, unlike competitors such as Jackpot City, it supports 10 cryptocurrencies as well as fiat methods.
Where the casino fell short for me was in customer support and overall security. Response times are slow, and I was concerned by the bonus terms and conditions, which suggest that bonus cash might be confiscated if you use strategies like focusing on high RTP slots.
This is why we have rated JustCasino a 6.8 out of 10 in our Casino Guru Safety Index. It's an above-average score but doesn't yet compete with the top CA casinos that have scored over 9, like Lemon Casino and LuckyWins.
