Case summary

The player from the United States had completed the play-through requirements but his withdrawal request had been denied by the online casino. The casino had requested documentation for verification, which the player had contested due to his use of cryptocurrency for depositing. However, we had clarified that KYC procedures were still applicable even with cryptocurrency deposits. The player later confirmed that the casino had paid him, resolving the issue.

Dear jaimeandujojr,

Thank you very much for submitting this complaint. I'm sorry to hear about your problem. I have checked the Terms and Conditions of Brango Casino, and this is what I found:

9.5 When you make a withdrawal for the first time, we might ask you for certain document copies to verify your identity. We may subsequently ask for these copies at random to ensure the security of your account. These documents include:

a. The front and back of your driving license or any other official government-issued photographic identification.

b. Your utility bill (for example gas, electricity, water or telephone) with your name and the address you have registered with us.

c. Statement of the card used or letter of issuing bank.

d. The front and back of any credit or debit cards that were used to make a deposit at the Casino.

e. Selfie holding your ID, Driver's license or Passport.

f. Selfie holding your card.

It's important to note that depositing with cryptocurrencies does not exempt you from undergoing a KYC procedure when requesting your first withdrawal from the casino. In the majority of online casinos, KYC is a very important and essential process, during which the casino makes sure that the money is sent to the rightful owner. As they don't have the luxury of being able to physically see all of the players and check their identification and documents, this is the only way gambling establishments are able to complete the verification procedures.

Could you please advise if you provided any of your identity documents for verification yet?

If you are looking for a way to gamble anonymously without having to go through the verification process, you may want to check out our list of anonymous casinos: https://casino.guru/top-online-casinos/anonymous-casinos.

I hope we will be able to help you to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your reply.

Best regards,

Veronika
