The player from Austria is suggesting that their country should have been listed as restricted jurisdiction. We’ve rejected this complaint as unjustified.
Ladies and gentlemen,
I was asked to confirm my identity to get VIP status. In the course of this I have now noticed that I am playing from a country (Austria) which I should not have been allowed to play on the site.
My losses are currently around EUR 4,000.
Can you help me to claim back the loss because of this or is it not possible?
Dear David2222,
Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m very sorry to hear about your problem. I have checked the terms and conditions, and this is what I found (here):
"1. Absolute Restriction
United States of America, United Kingdom, Spain, France, Slovak Republic, and Italy."
...
"5. Universal Monsters (Frankenstein, the Bride of Frankenstein,
Dracula, The Mummy, The Wolf Man, Creature from the Black
Lagoon, and The Invisible Man) can only be played in the following
territories:
Andorra, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Georgia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Norway, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Switzerland, Ukraine, Croatia, Macedonia, Turkey, Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Sweden."
I have found Austria being listed as a restricted country for several games from NetEnt only. Under an absolute restriction are listed United States of America, United Kingdom, Spain, France, Slovak Republic, and Italy only.
Could you please advise why do you believe that Austria should have been listed among restricted countries?
Looking forward to hearing from you. I hope we will be able to help you to resolve this situation as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Petronela
