Case summary

The player from Idaho had won $600 from a deposit and had requested a cash-out on December 19. The withdrawal had been approved, but the funds were not received. After discussing the matter with the casino, it was revealed that the winnings had been from free spins, which had a maximum cash-out value of $100. The player also had several disputed deposits totaling $108. An agreement was made to deduct this amount from the next withdrawal, leaving a negative balance of $8. The player had denied the chargebacks, but the casino had provided evidence supporting their claim. Therefore, the complaint was rejected as the player's winnings had been adjusted according to the casino's policies and the chargeback agreement.

Dear hemi3535,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your problem. Please allow me to ask you a few questions, so I can understand the whole situation completely. Have you made any successful withdrawals before? Could you please confirm that you have passed the KYC verification?

What is the current status of your withdrawal request? Is it marked as pending or processed in your casino account?

I hope we will be able to help you to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you very much in advance for your reply.

Best regards,

Kristina

What's a KYC Verification?

Thank you for your reply, hemi3535. Verification KYC (Know Your Customer/Client) is a very important and essential process, during which a casino verifies a player's identity to make sure that the money is sent to the rightful owner. In order to verify the player's identity, casinos request certain documents. Usually, casinos require at least one type of ID (ID, driver's license, passport) and one type of proof of address (utility bill, phone bill, etc.). However, some casinos can ask for bank statements, proof of ownership of the payment method used to make a deposit, various selfies, etc.

Most casinos perform the verification at some point, sooner or later - some casinos don't let players make deposits before they submit documents, and other casinos let players withdraw the first or few smaller withdrawals without it, but most often casinos ask for documents at the point of the first withdrawal.

Have you provided any documents to verify your identity?

Additionally, please forward all the relevant communication between you and the casino to kristina.s@casino.guru. Alternatively, you can post it here. Thank you in advance.

Greetings all,

I have reviewed the situation and it appears the initial winning balance was from daily free spins, these spins come with a $100 maximum cashout value. There were then additional free spins cashed on top, then also cash deposits placed on top of this playable balance. As the original win came from a free chip with a $100 maximum cashout value the requested withdrawal was approved at that maximum amount, $100, then the cash deposits were re-deposited into the account as cash to give an opportunity to win with no maximum cashout value (as a cash deposit should be). These cash funds were then played down to zero. $100 was the approved amount from the free chip and available for payout, however there were several disputed deposits which were sent back to the bank of origin, the total on these disputed deposits was $108. There was an agreement with the player to remove this amount on the next withdrawal with no further penalty. The win of $100 was removed as agreed leaving a negative balance of $8 still to be removed on the next withdrawal.

Hopefully this clarifies the situation, supporting documentation has been forwarded to the casino.guru team for review.

Best wishes,

Nick and Raging Bull

I would like them to send proof of the charge back charges there lieing

Hello hemi3535,

I had a conversation with a casino representative outside of the complaint thread, and I was provided with evidence of chargeback. I am afraid I cannot disclose the proof to the public. It looks like you won 600$ from free spins, which was cut down to 100$. As the chargeback was applied, the 100$ was deducted from your withdrawal request. After that, your deposits were returned and played to zero.

Due to the aforementioned reasons, this complaint will now be rejected. Thank you for your understanding, I am sorry we could not be of more help on this occasion. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you run into any issues with this or any other casino in the future.

Kind regards,

Stefan, Casino.Guru
