Case summary

The player from Australia had signed up to a casino because of a promotional offer they received via email. However, they didn't receive the promised free spins or bonus credit unless they deposited money, even though the promotion stated that no deposit was necessary. The casino refused to honor the promotion, making various excuses. We had explained to the player that casinos have the right to restrict or revoke bonuses and changed the disputed amount from A$3,000 to A$0 as no real funds were deposited. The complaint was eventually rejected due to lack of response from the player.

I received an email from fair go casino offering free spins and bonus credit and no deposit if I sign up so I clicked on the link it took me to their website I signed up but no free spins or credit unless I deposit money I chatted with them on line showed them screen shots of the emails with the promotion that was offered but the refused to honour it they made all sorts of excuses and I said I would of never signed up if I knew it was just misleading information to get more customers to sign with them and not offer what was in the email they argued with me on chat for 20 minutes making a lot of excuses such as the enail

never came from them but I said funny how when I click on the link in the email it takes me to your website and they really don’t care it’s just a big scam

Dear 6jy9pqtqz5,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your problem.

Please understand, that we can’t penalize the casino for taking away your privilege of receiving bonuses. Casinos, in general, have a right to restrict or even close players’ accounts if they suspect irregular play or other questionable activities or for no reason at all.

Casinos are not obligated to reward their players with bonuses and bonus privileges can be limited or revoked at any time without further notice. I absolutely agree that it would be ideal to inform a player about new restrictions related to their account, unfortunately it is not a standard practice.

Meanwhile, I have changed the disputed amount from A$3,000 to A$0 since you stated that no real funds were deposited.

Please let me know if there is any additional information that I have overlooked, but I’m afraid I will be forced to reject your complaint as unjustified. I wish I could be of more help. Thank you in advance for your reply and understanding.

Best regards,

Petronela
