Case summary

The player from Colorado won $6300 using a $38 no deposit bonus but faced difficulties withdrawing the funds, as the casino demanded a $55 deposit and an additional 3% fee paid in Bitcoin. Despite complying with the casino's requests, she felt frustrated with the lack of transparency and believed the process was a scam. The Complaints Team conducted a review of DiamondSpins Casino and identified indicators of fraudulent activity, advising her not to deposit any more money. Unfortunately, direct assistance with her situation was not provided, and she was encouraged to report the incident to legal authorities for further investigation.

Ok. I found a link on FB with no deposit. I think they gave me $38. The first day I won $6300. I tried to withdraw $6000 and was told I needed to deposit $55 in bitcoin. But the site clearly states you can use your Visa. I figured that it made sense to deposit at least some money with that much of a win. I talked to the help desk before J made the deposit (where I didn’t use bitcoin and it worked fine). Mind you - I deposited $60 and they were supposed to match it. Well the $120 never went into my balance…again I figured fine and the help desk assured me that I would be able to withdrawal the money.

I made the deposit and they ask you to email them to tell them you have a withdrawal.

Back up a bit, when you get to $6K they stop you from betting until you withdraw the money- but then I had to manager the deposit - jumped through all of their hoops.

The site says 30 min to 2 hour for credit. A few hours later a person that was not a supervisor (whom I was to send the email), messaged me saying that I needed to pay a $230 ish (3%) fee. I knew this because I read it in their site. I don’t have a problem with that.

So. Now they want me to pay that fee out of pocket in bitcoin. They are smoking crack if they think I’m paying another fee when they haven’t fine anything but our and operate under false pretense.

I Emailed back and said I needed a guarantee from the supervisor saying that they will send that money as soon as I pay the 3%. At this point I’m pissed because no matter how many times I showed that there was no place anywhere stating I had to pay the fee out of pocket, especially when I now have $13k between what I cashed out and what I have in my account.

Because they won’t allow me to go over $6K - I had to keep withdrawing- which forced me into withdrawing that much and they won’t reverse it because I have $6K in my account as well.

I honestly have no idea how I keep winning but I have paid back and/or hit the play through several times over. None the Less, I won it fair and square, At this point I think I should withdraw up to 9K and pay the fee and see what happens with the rest of the money. I have read several complaint saying they wiped the account difference once the person withdrew.

I just feel like they’re going to ask me to go to Walmart and get pre-paid cards for $100 each. I had scam written all over it - but it’s a lot of money to just walk away from.

I am frustrated with a lot of casinos that lure you in and tell you it’s a safe space and give you anything and then BAM 💥 they make it impossible to win and then say it’s random…yeah right!

I’ll come back to update if things change. Any thoughts?

Hello Jnglgurl21,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint and I'm really sorry to hear about your issue. Can you please forward a link of the casino as I could not locate it. Please allow me to ask you a few more question before we would move forward.

  • Could you please advise if your account is already verified and if yes, since when exactly?
  • Would be this your first ever withdrawal request from the casino?
  • When was the last time you spoke to the casino and what was it about?

Looking forward to your answer.

Regards,

Nick

Hey Nick. I’m sorry I haven’t responded, apparently I never saw them until now. Ok, the casino file is Diamond Spin Casino. Since I first sent you the message, I also found a complaint from a casino named spins casino with the same exact situation.

Like an idiot, I went ahead and paid the $300 only for them to "pretend" the money was being sent that failed to send. Then they said, "oh, I know what the problem is, you have to pay $300 more for taxes.

When I told them to take it out of the $9000 (I won more), they said something about privacy issues??

The next day it was the first day of the month, they said I forfeited all winnings because the month ended.

So - I am out $358 (which should only be $58 ), but the $300 I guess I felt like it was a lot of money to just let go. However, the fact remains is they are scamming people out of money with no intention of paying out.

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint and I'm really sorry to hear about your issue. Can you please forward a link of the casino as I could not locate it. Please allow me to ask you a few more question before we would move forward.

  1. Could you please advise if your account is already verified and if yes, since when exactly?

They had a very lax process, but yes I was verified.

2.Would be this your first ever withdrawal request from the casino?

Yes. They let you max out at $6K and then they make you cash out. Then you can go back to 6K. And so on.

When was the last time you spoke to the casino and what was it about?

The last time I spoke was the 1st of September- when they told me I forfeited all of the money.

Thank you for your help. Christa

Dear Jnglgurl21,

We conducted a thorough review of DiamondSpins Casino, we discovered several other indicators that suggest this platform is fraudulent.

A legal online casino never asks for a deposit commission for alleged "tax purposes for the platform". I strongly urge you NOT TO DEPOSIT any more money to this casino, because it's more than probable that you will never see your deposits or winnings again.

To assist you further in avoiding such situations in the future, we have compiled an informative article on how to choose a secure online casino. You can find it here: https://casino.guru/how-to-choose-an-online-casino

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide direct assistance with your current predicament. We advise you to report the incident to the police or a relevant legal authority for further investigation and potential resolution. Your cooperation with the appropriate authorities will help prevent others from falling victim to similar scams.

I'm sorry we could not be of more help on this occasion. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you run into any issues with any other casino in the future.

Best regards,

Nick
