The player from the UK would like his deposits to be refunded because of his gambling addiction and insufficient player protection tools. We couldn't help, because the casino wasn't aware of the player's problem.
Yes,I have an addiction to gambling.i have self excluded myself to most casinos ( depending on who is a responsible casino ).
I've tried playing Europe casino as this is my only option when I feel the need to gamble.most of these casinos restrict deposit amounts etc and make it a little difficult to loss a lot of money very quickly. After all for me it's not about the winning really it's about the thrill of winning the bonuses and getting more of them.
I was able to deposit £500 on the first night and a further £1000 on day 2 .
I'm really gutted obviously as I new I would lose this ,I did try to withdraw but there withdraw process keeps your money in there for you to continue playing until,I guess they authorise it .
This was so easy to deposit, they call them selves a responsible casino, just because they've got statements and a few links to advice anyone if they have a problem click here .
This is just not right ,they are allowing me/ us to take advantage of our weaknesses ..they should be making this a lot harder for people with an addiction.
I did complain and requested my €1500 back, but before they even acknowledge this i had the farce of sending my I'd etc to them .
Of course they will refuse, this is why they doby have or make it difficult for people like me ...very sad ..mr
Dear Mark,
Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your negative experience. Sadly, there aren’t unified regulations that would be applied to all casinos and player protection tools are managed by the casino exclusively.
Unfortunately, if the casino wasn't aware of your problem prior to making those deposits, your deposits can't be returned. Usually players have to inform the casino about their gambling problem, so the casino can take steps and prevent them from playing accessively by applying player protection tools.
I am sure you understand we cannot punish the casino in they didn’t know about your struggle. I can only recommend you using blocking software, which will prevent you from accessing gambling websites altogether. You can read more about it in this article:
https://casino.guru/responsible-gambling#apps-and-tools
Other available softweres are for example:
If there is anything else, I could do for you, please do not hesitate to contact me, otherwise, I will be forced to reject your complaint as unjustified. Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
Kristina
I know what your saying, but the casino are repping the benefits from people like me ! Are you saying you want me ( the addict ) to tell the casino before I feel I need to sign up and play and loose all my money before I do this.Do you think it's that simple.
The response is pretty typical, the moral of the story is ,is that the gambling commission has to do more to protect people from casinos capitalising on unfortunate circumstances!
Mark, I can only imagine your frustration and I believe it isn't simple, but this is, sadly, how it usually works. Not many casinos are able to detect players with problems until they inform the casino about it and we cannot punish them for it.
The Gambling Commission is able to fully protect the UK players only in those casinos, which are licensed by the UKGC. The Agent Spins casino doesn't even have an official license and has a rating of 0.7/10 (a very bad reputation), so I wouldn't expect a fair approach here.
I know it must be difficult for you, however, as I mentioned in my previous message, there is nothing we can do, since the casino couldn't know about your problem. Unfortunately, we are forced to reject this complaint. Sorry we were not able to help you, and please, reconsider using the blocking software, so you avoid getting into unpleasant situations like this one.
