I am writing to file a complaint regarding a mistaken deposit I made on your platform. On Apr-17-2024 04:11:18 PM +UTC, I mistakenly deposited $60,000 USD in Teller USD (USDT) Bep-20 to a Tether Bep-20 Address.
I understand that this was an error on my part, and I immediately contacted their finance department via email on 17 Apr 2024, 22:21 to request assistance in recovering the funds. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response for the first two days.
On 20 Apr 2024 I finally received a reply stating that :
Hello there,
Unfortunately, I need to inform you that we are unable to recover your tokens, due to the fact they are sent via unknown protocol, and contract address cannot be verified.
Please be more careful in the future when it comes to deposits and always deposit via the network we support.
If something changes in the future and we are in a situation where we can recover tokens you sent, we will reach out to you and inform you about that.
However, I am concerned because I have learned that a similar situation happened to a friend who made a deposit mistake on Stake.com. In their case, Stake.com was able to recover the funds by deducting a 10% fee.
Given the significant amount of money involved, $60,000 USD, represents a substantial sum for me. I kindly request that Stake.com reconsider my case and explore all possible avenues to recover my USDT.
I am open to the following solutions:
- Refund the USDT to the same address from which the mistaken deposit originated.
- Credit the equivalent amount of USDT to my Stake.com account, minus a reasonable recovery fee (comparable to the 10% offered to my friend).
I have attached screenshots as evidence of the transaction.
I look forward to your prompt response and a positive resolution to this matter.
