If you are not specific in the reason you want to limit your gambling, the casino might not conclude you have a gambling problem and will not act accordingly.


If you haven't done already, I'd encourage you to contact the casino and request a self-exclusion for a specific time period or permanently, while you give a reason for doing so, such as 'difficulties with gambling'. Keep the chat transcript and let me know what the casino replies.

Please let me explain the difference between closing an account and self-exclusion:

What a player can do if they're unhappy in the casino: Close the account or self-exclude themselves, that's the two basic choices.

Closing an account is simple and has almost no impact - the player can reopen the account anytime, and the casino has no obligation to the player.

On the other hand, self-exclusion does. If the player successfully makes a self-exclusion, the casino agrees not to open this account, or if yes only under particular circumstances. (after cooling off period and this cannot be done for players who are addicted/with gambling problems)

In the case of self-exclusion, if the casino failed, a player may ask for a refund.

I understand your experience in other casinos might have been different, but we don't consider you are entitled to a refund, based on the information provided. If you are feeling that gambling is causing you issues, I genuinely believe you should request a self-exclusion in the casino. Please, contact casino support and request it. We believe the player is only responsible for their account, active balance, and bets taking place.


If a player asks for a permanent closure or a closure for a limited time without stating a gambling problem to be the reason, the account can be reopened later. If the gambling problem is not mentioned as a reason for the closure, the casino will always act in a way to not lose a paying customer and may reopen accounts later, or offer you a bonus to entice you not to stop playing. The player will in theory be protected when the gambling problem is mentioned and acted upon by the casino. In case this fails the player can ask for the return of their deposits.
