Spinrise's Safety Index rating places it well below the best Canadian online casinos. Our tests show it's a medium-sized casino capable of reliably paying out winnings and offers mostly fair terms and conditions. However, it's faltering when it comes to supporting players. Most concerningly, players experiencing problematic gambling are facing severe delays when trying to self-exclude. Some are even finding it almost impossible to implement self-exclusion. The rating was a worry as I began my Spinrise casino review.
Looking at the site itself, I was impressed right away with the size of the site's game library. Spinrise offers more than 15,000 games from 140+ of the industry's best providers. The menu includes thousands of online slots, table games, and live dealers. The only thing missing is a sportsbook, which sites like Cleobetra offer players.
I also liked the overall usability of the casino, with a nice, clean design, pages that load quickly and simple processes for payments and account registration. Deposits and withdrawals were both smooth, with several crypto options as well as Interac available to first-time players.
The tight five-day timeline on the welcome bonus, though, did put me on the back foot a little as soon as I joined. That said, the overall value of the welcome offer is quite good.

The site advertises a welcome pack of up to $5,555 in deposit matches, plus 257 free spins, based on your first three deposits. This, though, includes choosing the High Roller Bonus when you first sign up, rather than the regular promo. Otherwise, the regular offer totals up to $2,999 in deposit matches when you deposit at least $30 each time, plus 243 free spins.
This still beats the single-deposit welcome bonuses at BigClash and Wyns. But it's nowhere near the $8,000, plus 500 free spins, you can claim via LuckyWins' sign-up promotion.

I have to admit, the irregular numbers (lots of 1s and 7s) here made it a little harder for me to get my head around each bonus. They're unusual compared to the simpler format used for the likes of Vegasino's promotions. But ultimately, I was impressed with the value on offer at Spinrise casino.
The maximum bet of $7.50 is the same as you'll find at Supabet, although the wagering requirement is slightly higher at 40x for both bonus funds and free spins.
The biggest downside here is that the expiry period is just five days for each of the three deposits. In comparison, Wyns' casino bonus offers 10 days to complete the bonus requirements.
Five days is very tight for a 40x wagering requirement, and I felt pressured to play as soon as I activated my bonus.

Overall, I was satisfied with the straightforward process of making payments. However, it would be nice to see options like debit cards and e-wallets made available to fresh joiners.

When we did our own digging, we found that Spinrise uses standard 256-bit encryption. However, we'd like it to be more transparent about its security measures, like Jackpot City and Monro are.
The responsible gambling page contains basic useful information, plus links to outside gambling resources. It's missing a self-assessment test, which is available at many casinos like VegaZone.
Unlike Wyns, though, Spinrise offers six different account limit tools, which include deposit, loss, wager, session, cooling off, and self-exclusion. It must improve its processes for the last of these, however, as they're negatively impacting players' experiences.
Spinrise holds a licence from the Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA). You can click to view the casino's active licence for added trust. However, it might disappoint some Canadian casino players looking for a local licensing authority.
These include the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC), which licenses Jackpot City, and the Tobique Gaming Commission (TGC), which licenses Tooniebet.
