I've played at stake for almost three years now.when I started playing stake was pretty small but then we started getting VIP levels so I went from bronze to plat 4 and have wagered almost five million usd.i live in a restricted area and use a vpn like a lot of stake players do..stake has overlooked this and the casino owner is well aware of where almost everybody is located .In fact the owner of the casino Eddie plays from a restricted area as well.this seems to be a normal thing with stake .and Steve plays from a restricted area also.and has a live stream on twitch doing just that..when the kyc stuff started Eddie assured us we could keep building our vip level and our accounts would be safe.because level 2 is not mandatory .so instead of warning us to not play they encouraged us to keep playing .so the other day my vip manager LAURA .used a picture against me to have my account banned .I lost about 4 k this month and expected about 4 k of bonuses as normal.but now my account is in withdrawl mode only and I've been cut off all the remaining bonuses I've pretty much paid for .not to mention I'm 20k down overall ..I know nothing is going to change or I won't get anything out of this but I just really want to let people know that these people are not being honest when they tell us our accounts are safe regardless of what your level and your relationship with this casino.i really think it's a way to delete some of our vip accounts and make us start over since creating a new account is pretty simple.with that said I now play on a non vip account with no benefits .so it really did nothing but take away my bonuses.which is kinda crappy since it only benefitted the casino to do so.i just think stake could of handled this whole thing better and if they are going to pick and choose accounts to delete this is not fair .why not do a kyc for everybody ...like trainwrecks he is an American citizen 'supposedly ' in Canada but he bets millions so stake doesn't want to lose him .why not kyc every player instead of just who they choose.i bet stake wouldn't stay in business long since they have allowed so many restricted area players to play for so long.

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your problem.

Please understand, that we can’t penalize the casino for taking away your privilege of receiving further bonuses. Casinos, in general, have a right to restrict or even close players’ accounts if they suspect irregular play or other questionable activities or for no reason at all. 

Casinos are not obligated to reward their players with bonuses and bonus privilege can be limited or revoked at any time without further notice.

Additionally, we accept the situation when the casino allows players from restricted countries to open an account and play as long as they don’t use this as an opportunity to cancel players’ legitimate winnings. Simply said – if the casino allows players from restricted countries to deposit and play, they should pay out their winnings as well.

Therefore, I would like to emphasize, that we investigate further and help only those players, whose funds (or winnings) have been confiscated due to being from a restricted country. Nevertheless, it doesn’t seem that this is the case here (correct me if I am wrong, please).

Let me know if there is any additional information that I have overlooked, but I’m afraid I will be forced to reject your complaint as unjustified. I wish I could be of more help. Thank you in advance for your reply and understanding.
