SpinCity Casino - Player has issues with bonus wagering conditions.

For new sign ups, SpinCity offers a 300% bonus. I deposited $25 and was credited a total of $75 all in BONUS money. I could not access my original funds at all. The terms of the bonus were not readily available prior to sign up. After spending an equivalent of $75 I expected my original funds to be released. The casino requires $3000!!! to be spent in order to convert funds from bonus to real money. Essentially, they stole my $25.

7. BONUS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

7.7. On the website, there are two balances: real and bonus. The real balance is for the player's deposit funds, which can be withdrawn at any time if the deposit has been wagered twice (deposit turnover is mandatory). The bonus balance consists of received bonuses, which require wagering according to the bonus terms. When a player has both active balances, bets are deducted first from the real balance, and any winnings from such bets are credited to the bonus balance (without increasing the wagering amount). Wagering of both the real and bonus balances only occurs when bets are placed using these balances.

Playing with an active bonus means that you have to complete the wagering requirements to be eligible for withdrawal. In this case, the wagering is 40x bonus amount, i. e. $75 * 40 = $3000

If you decide not to complete the wagering requirements, you may cancel the bonus. But keep in mind, if you do that any winnings you got from the bonus will disappear. Also, because the real money is used up first, if you lost more than $25 from the start of your playing, your balance will end up at zero when you cancel the bonus.

I was never given the option to withdraw my original $25 - it was immediately converted to bonus. I spent more than 2x my $25 deposit. Technically, my bonus amount is $50 so even according to their bananas arrangement I should only have to wager $2000 to release funds (which is still insanity).

But yes, I was told I need to wager $3000 after the fact. The terms were not readily available at time of sign up. Furthermore, all wagering must be on slot machines, SOME OF WHICH only grant you 70% or 50% of your wager toward fulfilling your $3000 target. I don't even know where one would start looking to see which slots actually provide you with the 100% credit.

If you activated the bonus upon registering at the casino, you began playing with it right away. If you preferred not to use the bonus, you should have contacted customer support to request its cancellation. Once you initiate play with an active bonus, the applicable bonus rules come into effect.
