Case summary

The player from Norway had their account closed by Ripper Casino due to alleged discrepancies between their IP address and the country account was accessed from. Even though the player only used two devices and the same network, the casino cited internal security criteria as the reason for the closure. The complaint was rejected because the player didn't respond to our messages and questions.

After a lengthy mail verification process requesting documents and alternative documents (documents@ripper.casino), I was sent a strange email from(security@ripper.casino).

"...Recently, we have detected a discrepancy between the IP address used to register your account and the country from which it was accessed...".

I was very confused about this and told them the message was too strange as I have never used any device other than my desktop pc or my phone and both share the same network, a day later today they mailed me basically saying my account was being closed.

(documents@ripper.casino)

"...Dear Abdi Rahman,

We hereby inform you that Ripper Casino has contacted you regarding your account.

After evaluating your account activity, your account did not meet our internal security criteria.

Accordingly, we have taken the decision to close your account, and this action cannot be reversed..."

apparently they only allow you to play in their casino in my case 6 deposits and as soon as you make any profit they proceed to close your account without any explanation or proof they just took my money and will take yours for sure so just overlook it.

Dear AbdiEsse,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your problem. Please allow me to ask you a few questions, so I can understand the whole situation completely. Could you please advise when exactly you created your account?

Do I understand correctly that the casino confiscated winnings of €1,707 (dispute value)? Have you accumulated your winnings with or without an active bonus?

I hope we will be able to help you to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you very much in advance for your reply.

Best regards,

Kristina

Hi Kristina, I joined Ripper Casino on May 10, 2023, yes after about 4 weeks of asking for documents they closed my account just after asking me random things about my IP address from a different email, I made 6 deposit in total, and the last time I won around 1700-1770EUR, since I had a bonus I had to wager the total amount of the bonus received for an amount of times imposed by them, when I finished I proceeded to upload the verification documents as they indicate on their page when you want to make withdrawal, everything was fine until after 4 weeks when they had already requested about 10 documents and approval of all of them, they refuse to pay my winnings and close my account without any real reason just look like a desperate and elaborate attempt to avoid paying.
