Deposited £100 and they took out £108 without my permission, unable to contact anyone but eventually connected to chat who told me they dont charge for deposit, and dont know why this, contacted my bank and they said Payment is on hold so i have told my bank to cancel it.

Could you please advise in which currencies are your accounts held (bank and casino accounts)? Have you deposited any funds into this casino previously using the same payment method? Usually, international transaction fees are managed by banks.
However, since you already cancelled the transaction, I'm not sure how we could be of any help.
