Hi,

my name is JB and I live in France.

i opened an account on Stake for since 2020/2021.


France was not an allowed country but they have checked my kyc.


i ve lost a lot of money on a casino forbidden in France.

i am forbidden in French Casino.


Today I have nearly 100k credits to pay and I think in one month I will not able to recover.


The casino know I am living in a restricted country and they let me deposit thousands and thousands euros…


During the beginning of this year, I ve asked my vip host to return my losses because I don’t know how to pay and she told me it is not possible.


They let me continuing to play and I ve lost more and more money.


is there something Guru can do for me ?

You are my last chance !

Could you please advise since when is your account fully verified? Did you accumulate your winnings with real money or did you use a bonus? Do you have currently any pending withdrawal? How much is your current casino balance? For what reason are you requesting a refund of your loss, did they refuse to pay out? When was the last time you spoke to the casino and what was it about?

  • my account was verified in 2021.
  • I have no winnings to withdraw right now. I only want losses refunds
  • My balance is 7 usd


i ve not talk about this with Stake.


We only talk about bonuses.


i only want to recover my loses 🙁

Hello juwarel,

Unfortunately, if you have no balance on your account the casino is not responsible for your loss. If you played with the money and lost it, it's simply lost. Anybody could just deposit and lose and ask for refund if that would be the case.

If you would have remaining balance there which the casino would refuse to pay out due your country of residence, we would be able to help you out but there is basically no reason why should the casino refund anything.

But I don’t understand…


The casino have accepted me as a player even if they knew I play from a restricted country.


At the begging, they have to refuse my registration because I live in a restricted country.


i told us I have financials issues, and they never done something.

they let me continue playing as usual !


The contract between me and the casino as the registration moment was never good so they will have to return net loss ?

Hello juwarel,

You can't register somewhere lose all the money and request a refund. If you knew that there were issues from the beginning, you played on your own responsibility. If you did not specifically request for self-exclusion, there is no reason why should the casino refund anything.

The complaint will be now closed based on the fact that there is no remaining balance to be refunded.
