I deposited to VeloBet with a credit card. Credit card transactions used for Gambling are banned in the UK. What are the chances of me being able to get a refund should I request it? As the funds should never have been accepted, and because it's credit, it's technically not my money.

The bank did not block the transaction as they are providing wrong merchant codes, meaning it is not being picked up as a gambling transaction
