The player from South Africa had faced difficulties withdrawing her winnings from an online casino. After using her comp points and winning a few thousand rand, she had requested a withdrawal. The casino, however, had claimed that some of her bets exceeded 10% of the bonus amount, which was against their policy, and therefore cancelled her withdrawal and voided her winnings. The player's account had been verified and she had a small balance before redeeming the comp points. Despite our efforts to assist, the player had felt unsatisfied with our help. Eventually, she reported that another complaint site had helped her and that her funds were being paid. We had closed the complaint upon the player's request.

HI i redeemed my comp points on the 16 th of feb 2024 of an amount of 340 rand just after i played a free spin bonus and won a full 9 rand from that i then continued to play as my comp points was no real money after winning a couple of thousand rands i requested a withdrawal please see below info

You can see the bonus was 9.45 i recieved 10 % of this is 0.9 cents there is no game that can play this amount but also note that the bulk of my money was from my comp pionts that in reality real money that i played with

Firstly - bonus buy features ARE bets. They are simply one large bet on the outcome of a bonus feature. 

 

Having reviewed the play history in question we are inclined to agree with your claim partially. You did violate the maximum allowed bet term whilst playing with a bonus. This does invalidate the bonus contract and would result in your balance being reset to pre-bonus conditions. 

 

However, you completed the wagering requirement with 789.45ZAR. Resetting your balance to pre-bonus conditions would leave you 361ZAR. The majority of the balance that has been voided was accumulated AFTER the wagering requirement was completed, and can be attributed to non-bonus play given that your balance did not drop by 361ZAR after that point.

 

As such, we view would view 5346.75ZAR to be legitimate winnings and will contact the operator to discuss further.

Could you please advise if your account is already verified and if yes, since when exactly? How much was your casino balance before receiving the bonus? Was there only 1 bet which was higher than the maximum allowed one? Do I see it correctly from the screenshot you provided that it was a losing bet?

How much is your current casino balance and is the casino still reviewing your case?

Hi nick yes my account is verified with them and it was verified i think 4 years ago already secondly my balance was not alot before redeeming the comp points and yes it was a losing bet li did submit this complaint to casino reviews website and there feedback was the following -

I was very happy with this feedback i received 2 weeks ago i expected this to be resolved already by now but received no feedback since then from them i did also make contact with bcasinos complaints the department 12 days ago and the also said this will be investigated and there time frame for resolution is 10 days but yet again have received no reply from them as well from 11 days ago.


Please can you assist me with this as you can see that i only asking for the right thing to be done from there side.

Based on the screenshot provided by the casino and the betting history, it is more likely that the comp points are considered as bonus money, the max bet should have been 10% of the 358 rand. As you did breach the max bet multiple times by betting over 35 rand, the casino had right to void the winnings generated from this bonus.

Even in case the comp points would not be considered as bonus, you still did a bet of 120 rand which is higher as the maximum allowed 60 anyway.
