Chase are being a pain for me, stated its gambling transactions even though they're not under a gambling MCC, trying to argue the fact that if it's a gambling transaction, why is the MCC listed as something else? Tried the tactic of asking if the transactions would bypass a gambling block if it was in place (it was a new account, i didn't have it in place at the time but have been signed up to GAMSTOP since 2021) they said they'll forward it to the specialist and haven't replied to me in five days.

All nikotpf is elegro, they will just say "please ask your bank to get in contact with us as we cannot identify you", they basically said to me process a chargeback and you’ll be refunded.
Yeah that's what they're saying to me, my banks refused to do so as they were gambling transactions, despite the merchant code being wrong, rather than provide evidence and answer their questions, this time i've taken to the tactic of asking them, hopefully them realizing they can't provide a solid answer may inspire them to take a look into it whilst i await the ombudsman to appoint me an agent
If I’m honest I’ve completed chargebacks in the past and said the funds didn’t enter my account, as the bank goes to the merchants in question they usually fold and don’t fight back against the chargeback as they are illegally taking money from uk banks.
