My complaint is also about CASINO GURU

How they have gave a 6.3 to a site that’s obviously corruption at its finest is beyond me. Maybe I don’t deserve a refund for being so stupid as to look at these reviews. All I can say to others is…DON’T BELIEVE A WORD CASINO GURU TELL YOU!!!!!!!

They give ratings above 5 then say the never recommend the site. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I’d never even heard of this casino until YOU GAVE IT AN ABOVE AVERAGE SCORE. I’ve now looked around the internet and found many damming reviews and red flags to be aware of from other reviewer and customers of this casino.

Sadly, it is common for experiences to be influenced by the percentage of the winnings gained.

Surely you can easily lose even in the most fair casino in the world, because losing is part of gambling Are you saying that the casino has never treated you unfairly? Could you kindly explain that, please?

I guess you are familiar with the fact that in the long term, casinos always win - every casino always wins in the long term. If not anything else, the house edge/cut always works against the player.

I believe Bh1974, like myself, is from the UK 🇬🇧 - I wonder why they allowed registration when you state ‘Doesn't accept players from United Kingdom’ how are they getting around this?

I think you are just upset. You say the casino is bad, because of what? Because you played and lost.

Allow me to quote from your complaint:

Dear Bh1974,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I want to inform you that we cannot make a case solely based on what you are describing. Sometimes you might get lucky and sometimes not; that's how casinos and casino games work. I would recommend reading our article about Payout ratio (RTP).

If you possess additional information that could support our case, kindly send it to me. To address the casino regarding their RTP (Return to Player), having the complete game history of the player is the most effective approach. Please send it to petronela.k@casino.guru as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, at this time, if we don’t have any evidence proving that something unfair is going on, there is nothing we can do. Please do not hesitate to contact me if there is anything else, I could do for you regarding your complaint.

This is only about losing, nothing else. It has nothing to do with our ratings or reviews. I'm sorry you lost the money. If you hate losing money, do not play.

I'm not convinced this is the case here. Have you seen the complaint?

https://casino.guru/velobet-casino-player-suspects-platform-is-not-legitimate

"This casino simply cannot be real. I wasn’t sure if I was allowed to deposit from the U.K. but it went through. I deposited £500 and every spin was a loss. I then deposited another £1000

and once again it was unbelievable!!! It’s as if the 3 symbols need to trigger any bonuses were missing. Any wins were tiny and the gameplay was nowhere like the usual on their platform. Only the Betnet and play&go games loaded so the choice wasn’t there either. I think it’s either a fake gaming platform or something very sinister is going on. I’m asking for a full refund with immediate effect and warning others to stay clear of Velobet."

I'm sorry; from my point, it has nothing to do with it. ?🙁

I’m now not caring about the money I lost…I just want to warn others.

If CASINO GURU Recommends or highly rates a casino then STAY CLEAR OF IT.

Independent reviewers are giving it a 2/10 yet CASINO GURU will give them a 6.3

They are ALL IN IT TOGETHER!!!!!

Regardless of the ‘complaint’ my question was why Velobet allows players from the UK to register, when you say they don’t accept them, why would you not ask the question before we end up going around in circles, skirting around the reality!

Please don’t take it personally but a valid question really requires a response, even if you don’t know, it will definitely help others!

With all possible respect, the rating process is pretty clearly stated, and so is the safety index explanation:

https://casino.guru/our-casino-reviews

What is the thing you aim to warn players about? This is the point I do not understand. So, I'm asking.

The way your complaint was submitted speaks for itself; those were not my words.

We are not in it together with anyone. This is, sadly, a lie you spread. I ask you kindly to stop with that on our own forum.

Are you really convinced safety index 6,3 - below average is any kind of recommendation? Obviously, it is not.

I didn't take that personally; I said the player you chose to speak up for was not a good choice since there are other motives than the license. Now you can see that for yourself 🙁.

Now to your question:

The process of acquiring information regarding forbidden countries is quite the opposite. We do regular checks, and as a result, information remains the same or is updated. Since far too many casinos aim to restrict countries/players by simply mentioning that only in rules - without effective block on a technological level, we've decided to consider rules to be the official source of information. Because it is written and visible, we also check the registration form, to find out which countries are "allowed" to register. Needless to say, you will find many examples where the registration form does not meet the rules.

filefile

See? 🙁 I personally think saying this casino does not allow players from the UK is the better option. Also considering the missing UKGC license.

Don't worry, I understand your concern, but things in gambling are not always just black and white, as you see now...

Go ahead and ask the casino about its terms and registration form. I'm eager to see the explanation. 🤷‍♂️

@Radka - thank you for explaining and now I understand why you put what is in their terms.

Would it be helpful to add something to the section ‘Doesn't accept players from United Kingdom’ registration may not be blocked so you risk not being able to withdraw winnings (for example)?

My Live Chat with Velobet Casino:

Me

I am from the UK and managed to register with you, but as I understand it you do t allow UK players. What do you do to prevent this and if I played and won would I be able to withdraw winnings?

Live Chat

After full verification, you will be able to make a withdrawal. You need to verify your identity, address, and email as well.

Me

So you do accept players from the UK then?

Live Chat

We accept Players only from those countries and geographic regions where online gambling is allowed by law. It is the Player’s sole responsibility to inquire about the existing gambling laws and regulations of the given jurisdiction before placing bets on the Website

Me

You are not answering my question properly - you say does not allow UK players yet you do - how does that work please?

Live Chat

UK players are also permitted to play on our website.

Me

Do you not think then you need to remove the UK from the restricted Countries list so there is no confusion?

Please wait, I will check the information for you to give you detailed information

I think it is quite well explained in the post written by Radka. Have you also looked at the Terms and Conditions to see if your country is restricted ?

As for you depositing there, we are not a casino so we didn't let you deposit there if I understand what you write correctly.

I think it's enough if players can see where they can't play on our site. I am of the opinion that if you go through such information and also verify it in Terms, you'd better not play in such a casino, so that there are no problems.

However, as far as your chat is concerned, I find it quite strange that even the operator is not aware of what is in the Terms and Conditions. If they clearly state that UK players can't deposit and yet he say that UK players are allowed, that doesn't seem like the best information to me. Especially if he then stops answering.

However, have you tried asking by email how it is when the operator tells you one thing and the Terms and Conditions say another ? I'm quite interested.

Hello there.

I admit there are some edge cases where more appropriate information shown on the casino tab would be far more suitable. I will be completely honest with you: we're still lacking human resources and time to do so. At least there is an open forum where caring people like you share knowledge, experiences, and findings.

Back to the main point: I'm more than convinced your chat discussion shows the inconsistency in the allowed countries' topic, specifically from the casino's side. 🙁

Simply put, I'd like to believe this theme is well-known in your country. As a result, all players in the UK know they are only allowed to play in UKGC-licensed casinos. Of course, there is always the other side; hence, I really appreciate the efforts you keep showing us here. Good job with the chat 🙌

Yet despite that, you willingly decided to deposit. Am I correct at this point?

Once you have the same fair chance to win, like a player from any other country, giving your deposits back because you should not be allowed does not sound like a fair deal to me - with all honesty. 🙏

I believe I've sent you the Fair Gambling Codex citation, haven't I?

https://casino.guru/fair-gambling-codex-for-casinos#restricted-countries

The right thing to do is to check for restricted countries during the account creation process, and to not allow players from restricted countries to register and play. If the casino knows about restricted countries and also knows the player's country of residence, it's not a big issue to enforce this rule.

If the casino allows a player from a restricted country to play because it hasn't implemented this check, it should accept that it was the casino's mistake and pay out all winnings to the player despite the fact that they shouldn't have been allowed to play in the first place, provided that the player hasn't done anything else that's against the rules.

In my eyes, that goes hand in hand with "no refunds for restricted countries, once the player actually played with the balance."

We aim to maintain a fair approach on both sides.🙏

Yes have sent an email and awaiting response 🤔 will feed back here!

it’s worth noting their email address on their certificate is support@velobet.com but the contact email on the site is support@velobet.email (and does not work)

Another quite interesting information for which I thank you. I think that you will make such an analysis of the casino here that players who come through this thread will not be able to get confused and will be able to make a clear opinion on whether to play here or not.

Anyway, be sure to let us know when you find out more information. We'll be waiting. 🙂
