I was actually, sure more providers would be sweet but they have microgaming and others, it forced me to play games I might not have and there’s more than enough to ever try. Plus I was on a winning streak so I couldn’t complain. 😀

I found power play casino and was so impressed with it withdrawals were fast ,they're designed is great and customer service is wonderful. So I told my wife about it and she made an account. Both of us played along, not having any problems making deposits until we both tried to withdraw funds. When we tried to do our withdrawals this is the message that we received


12.3.PowerPlay does not allow two or more Account Holders to place bets from one IP-address (from the same computer or the same local area network). In such cases PowerPlay has the right to block the account of such a User and ask them to send the documents verifying their registered identity.

We verified everything and I already made 2 withdrawals.

So they blocked us and froze our accounts.

I received an email after 2 weeks and was able to withdraw my 900.00.

My wife was told they confiscated her winnings for breaking rules.

How can I get my withdrawal but she can't get hers of 1980.00.

She has sent 5 emails asking them to clarify the rules she broke and they can't come up with an answer so they have ignored her. Now tonight she gets this.


PowerPlay reserves the general right at any time, and in our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your account (or exclude you from any of our services) without further explanation if we consider it necessary to do so.

So are they basically saying that somebody has a bad day because they found out their wife was cheating on them, or they don't like the way your name looks, or they got shot down at the bar the night before they can give you the boot and keep your winnings?

If that is the case AVOID POWER PLAY CASINO AT ALL COSTS. She should get her money fair and square it wasn't won on bonus funds.

If they do the right thing and let her withdraw her funds I will update this but it's sneaky especially leaving out the last line in the rule. Ignoring her 4 emails while they dream something up shows their character. It is pointless to get a lawyer but my daughter works for global news and is finishing her internship this would make for a good story. It happens too often and people should be made aware this casino closes accounts because they are 3 and are throwing a temper tantrum.Rules are rules not for one player and not the other.

Hello efg22,

Allow me to start with the fact, that this is quite a normal rule usually stating that only one account per household, is allowed. It's because the casino simply can't be sure about who is exactly playing and such accounts can be misused for bonus hunting.

Always ask the casino whether you both can play there at the same time - always make a screenshot of the casino statement.

As far as I can see confirmed in the complaint, your winnings were already paid, so no harm was done in the end. That's great!

Nevertheless, kindly keep this as a good experience, always consult with the casino first to avoid later issues.

Casinos verify accounts the moment the withdrawal is submitted not when the deposit is made, you can both ask the casino to verify you immediately though, honest casinos would allow that.

OK I don't understand what you are saying. Power play says it is alright for two different people to play on the same IP address. But they won't give her winnings to her. I'm not sure where you see she got her winnings. They can't even give her a reason as to why..

Well, you said that the situation is ok for the casino though the second person won't get the winnings. So it is obviously not all right, don't you think?

Did you mention this rule? (it's a standard rule - very comon):

To avoid possible issues: Always ask the casino whether you both can play there at the same time - always make a screenshot of the casino statement.

Because the moment the casino says that you can both play, it is very important to capture this answer as proof. 🙂

Are you aware of anything? As stated, you are entitled to refunds, so it makes sense that the withdrawal was left untouched.

Is it fair? This is a completely different question.

Saw your complaint and it was closed as rejected because it seems you stopped replying, while your wife's complaint was closed as unsolved (which basically cause the casino's rating to be lowered accordingly to the severity of the case), you should have kept communicating with guru, you may think that a complaint getting closed as unsolved doesn't help but it truly does: it warns other players, if that causes losses of potential users for the casino, you can consider that your retaliation.

I don't have the full context for both of your cases, but I suppose you had no intention of building any edge over the casino by both of you having accounts there, mostly because who in their right mind would set up two accounts with the exact same home address and the exact same IP address to take advantage of any casino? I will trust guru's ruling on your wife's case and suppose there was nothing fishy going on with any of the two accounts, like I said: you should have kept communicating with guru and more negative points would have been added to the casino
