Hello.
Can you describe what has happened, please? I only learned that your account seems to be blocked for some reason.
I would love to have it reopened. First of all my boyfriend and I both had an account with power play. We both had won and had no problem collecting our winnings. Then we both won a decent amount and they refused to pay me my winnings. They paid out my boyfriend. When I asked why they said because they didn't want to. Now I will add at that time no where on their rules did it say 2 people from the same household could not play on their site. I made sure that they were not using that excuse because their rules didn't state that it was not allowed. The funny thing is they paid our my boyfriend but not my winnings. They told me a few times they would pay me and then changed their mind. It was the most unprofessional contact I have ever had with a casino. They just ignored casino guru when they got involved. I think it is theft if they take your money and refuse to give you a reason why they won't pay out your winnings. They should be penalized for that kind of behavior.
I don't understand as I was told by casino guru that they couldn't do anything else for me. Is there a way to have this opened and paid my winnings?
Really I wanted to continue I still do. Casino guru said they couldn't do anything as power play stopped communicating. I would love to open this back up but how can you help me if they don't reply to you. I was told I couldn't go any further as they have every right to terminate me without a good excuse. I'm still angry a year later.
Hello.
Just to be sure I haven't missed the recent events, when I replied to the last time 5 months or so ago, saying, "Feel free to ask for the complaint to be reopened. Use the link you have in your email, or reply to Tomas."
Did you do that?
Because if you did not, you have to start with this action; otherwise, there will be no reopening at all.
I'm also a bit confused about this part: "They just ignored casino guru when they got involved." As far as this complaint 👈 is concerned, you were the one who went silent.
I would appreciate it if you could help me understand the context. 🙏
Thank you.
I got an email saying power play stopped responding and you could not help me. That power play would have to go god on paying me to have their ratings improved.
I saw that you had two complaints about this casino. In one case, the casino did not respond, but that was back in 2022. In cases like this, there is not much more we can do, because if the casino is not cooperating or not responding, then we can hardly help. In another case, you did not answer and so the complaint was closed.
So what are you trying to say with your post ? 🤔
Hi, quite interesting but unfortunately I can't think of anything at the moment. Can you get something for it if you guess? Do you only have one try or can you guess for a certain period of time? 😀
I liked PowerPlay but then I won over 3000 and I had the cash out under what I won so I played it too $2970. I went to withdraw and verify my account, on chat they said my account was being verified only to close my account and confiscate my winnings, to be credited a portion of my deposits. What kind of casino operates by stealing winnings and ignoring the person?
Hey, that's definitely not what players would expect. Did the casino tell you why this happened and why they took your money? Were you playing with a bonus? Did you withdraw the deposits they returned to you or not?
Yes, the casino did give a reason, but only after I requested a withdrawal. My account was fully allowed to deposit, play, and win. I won just over $3,000 using my own deposited funds, then continued playing until my balance was $2,970 and submitted a withdrawal.
Only at that point was I told via live chat that my account was "under verification." but in the chat they confirmed my verification. Instead of completing verification process, the casino closed my account, confiscated my winnings, and refunded only part of my deposits.
To clarify:
I was not playing with a bonus
The winnings were from real money deposits
The refunded amount was not winnings, only a partial deposit return
No clear or evidence-based rule breach was provided
It was less than a week after I tried withdrawing that they closed my account and confiscated my winnings.
Verification should happen before or during play — not after a win is requested. Using verification as a reason to void winnings after the fact raises serious concerns about fairness and player protection.
I’m sharing this so other players are aware and can make informed decisions.
At the moment I am currently waiting on PowerPlay to answer.
Thanks for the detailed description.
As far as verification is concerned, it usually happens in casinos when a player tries to withdraw money. Sometimes it may not happen on the first withdrawal, but if you win more, in 99% of cases the casino will want to verify the player. What I would like to know is why they took your money. That's the most important thing we don't know, I would say.
I firmly believe that the casino will somehow explain and let us know why it resorted to this step, as I saw that we are waiting for this in your complaint.
Feel free to let me know if they respond.
So far they have ignored their first chat, so we extended it another 7 days. They are operating crooks, running out the clock. If they stop avoiding and process my payment I will re edit my comments and give them a fair review and finally be able to move forward. As this happened I had medical issues that still effect me to this day. So do they want to Be known for scamming a vulnerable person with medical issues at the time.
Hello, under such circumstances, perhaps it would be best to avoid casinos for some time. As you can see, especially casinos with lower safety indexes are dangerous for players, so the only thing working is to try to keep the distance.
Perhaps I did not understand your message well, yet you mentioned a health issue; I just aim to help.
Hoping for the best with the complaint.
I put in a complaint for help not judgment nor being shamed. Maybe I misread your opinion, but it sounds like I did not. I simply asked for help dealing with my matter, and as far as casinos I have had no issues with other casinos since.
I guess this is a misunderstanding.
Here on the forum, we are talking together, like two people sharing the topic. This casino poses risks. The complaint sometimes needs more time and a positive outcome is not guaranteed.
Since you mentioned your medical issues, I tried to suggest that you take a break from the stress associated with the casino situation.
I did not mean to harm your feelings by any means.
