However, when they attempted to withdraw their winnings, the casino closed their account, stating that players from the UK are not allowed. After a closer examination, we ended up rejecting this complaint as unjustified.

I deposited 325€ and won 4650€. I passed all verification checks and then when I went to withdraw my winnings they closed my account. They say I am from the UK but you can't play from here although they allow you to use VPN and recommend that on the chat. Have stolen my money and my happiness. They are absoloute scammers AVOID!!!!

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your problem. I have checked the terms and conditions, and this is what I found (here):

2.7. When it comes to gambling laws, they differ from country to country. The following is a list of countries where online gambling is illegal, so you cannot create an account at Windetta: UK, USA, France, Netherlands, Ukraine (including temporarily occupied territories), Curacao, Aruba, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, Saba, Dutch West Indies, Statia, Singapore, Republic of Moldova. Windetta has the right to suspend any account created by residents of these countries, as well as to cancel deposits and bets.

 

As it's not feasible to create an account from a restricted country (depicted in the screenshot below), could you please verify whether you utilized a VPN to bypass the IP blocking implemented by the casino to prevent access from restricted countries?

Additionally, there is no United Kingdom available in the registration form. Which country you submitted when creating your account, please?

Hello I selected United Arab Emirates as I thought it said United Kingdom. I used a vpn to access the website as I know you needed one to play the games. It was said numerous times in conversations with the staff on live chat you can use a vpn to access games. I dont understand how my address was verified by them and also my payments were verified. I was let to continue spending my money from a UK bank account and UK credit card. Only when I won a huge amount of money my account was banned when I passed verification for withdrawal. How is it legal to steal money from me and how many people have they done this too? If I was losing my money how long would they continue to take my payments from UK companies. Seems like mass fraud and laundering. I hope this helps and let me know if you need anymore information about this. I'm down 325 on deposits and 4650 on winnings. It's disgusting what this has done to my mental health.

So, just to recap, you registered your casino account with the location set as the United Arab Emirates instead of the United Kingdom and used a VPN to conceal your actual location, all while expecting the casino to bear responsibility for this situation? It's important to understand that if you knowingly circumvented the casino's measures in place to prevent players from restricted countries from opening accounts, there may be limited assistance we can offer.

If the casino did not implement an IP block, offered the United Kingdom as an option during account registration, and later stated, "We won't pay you because you are a player from a restricted country," that would be a different scenario. However, that is not the case here. We can only provide assistance to players who have been treated unfairly, but regrettably, in this instance, it appears that the issue arose from your lack of transparency with the casino.

Are you serious? They have stole my money? This is actually disgusting. Do you think its OK for them to verify my address after registration? I sent them bank statements to verify my address. I was confirmed for banking deposits and my money was still being taken. I have recieved no refunds. How was I to know it wasn't a uk casino? It was being advertised on Facebook by a professional gambler. My Account was only blocked when I went to withdraw. How have my deposits been taken and not refunded to me. I dont care about the 4650 I won. Where is my 325 that was promised to be refunded. There was a lack of transparency here. I should recieve my money back otherwise they are stealing from me?


Thank you, I hope this clears everything up and you can help i think I have been treated extremely unfairly. After all I have been crying my eyes out for the past 2 weeks. I have been left struggling financially also after depositing a huge amount of money.

I was told I would recieve a refund. I have never recieved a refund its actually disgusting the way I have been treated. How can casinos get away with this I've been suffering mentally and financially since this has happened. Can you not see the misconduct and terrible actions of this casino? I appreciate your help but I'm still a long way from feeling mentally stable after this has happened..

I deeply regret to inform you that you consciously bypassed the casino's imposed restrictions for players from restricted countries. In addition to using a VPN to manipulate your geolocation, it came to light that, during the account registration process, you intentionally provided false information by indicating UAE as your country of residence. Upon reviewing your submitted documents, the casino identified that you are, in fact, from a restricted country and subsequently took action to block your account, as well as invalidate your winnings. We are only able to help players who were mistreated by casinos, unfortunately, this is not the case.

I wish I could be of more help. I’m sorry we couldn’t help you to resolve this case, but please do not hesitate to contact us if you run into any issues with any other casino in the future. For the abovementioned reasons, I will now reject this complaint. Thank you for your understanding.
