Dear C.G staff & other folks,

apparently have I also fallen into a trap of this casino's nice welcome bonus, good-looking website and pleasant live chat. Despite my accusations, the live chat support made me believe that the games are 100% legit and it's safe to play here.

As a result, my bank of 153€ (51€ deposited + 102€ 200% welcome bonus) disappeared blazing fast, without almost any win at all - losing all the bank was matter of minutes. Please note that I played low variance Novomatic game (wins always appear every few spins), and my bets were quite low too (the highest was around 1€ I think, lowest ~0.05€).

This is definitely suspicious, so combined with my research I asked third party to cross-check my own findings. Part of their response is here:

"... Novomatic and NetEnt games are hosted on the same domain which doesn't belong to any of these two software providers. Moreover, Pragmatic Play, Microgaming, IGT, Amatic, EGT are hosting on another domain as well. The Aristocrat domain is also not genuine and the games that are no longer a part of Aristocrat are still featured on their site. Play n Go games are also on some other domain. ..."

I contacted casino live chat and asked them to explain it, as well as to refund me - they pointed me to complaints@jinxcasino.com, which I emailed recently, without any response so far.

Therefore I decided to make it public this way - to either encourage the casino to investigate, remove fake games and refund me (and possibly other affected players), or - in case that they will just ignore this - to raise red flag and make others aware of the fake games and dishonesty.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Dear foofoobarken,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I want to inform you that we cannot make a case solely based on what you are describing. Sometimes you might get lucky and sometimes not; that's how casinos and casino games work. I would recommend reading our article about Payout ratio (RTP): https://casino.guru/learn-about-games-of-chance-rtp-variance.

If you have more information that would help our case, please forward it to me. Unfortunately, at this time, if we don’t have any other evidence proving that something unfair is going on, there is nothing we can do. Please do not hesitate to contact me if there is anything else, I could do for you regarding your complaint.

Best regards,

Kristina

Hello Kristina,

may i disagree with you just a little bit in a polite manner? 🙂

Before I start - please, check this Pelican casino review on Casino.Guru.

Do you see the information in the red? "Fake games"

Aside of the fact that the title you chose for this complaint is a bit humiliating, it also doesn't express the essence of this issue. Your assumption is that my problem is low RTP of their games; partially correct, but if taken isolated, inherently wrong 🙂 Please note that I have been playing slots for a decade, while I also have a tiny bit better understanding of the IT side of things than an average player, thus I am aware e.g. of techniques how to spot fake games.

I have sent you one proof of their games to be fake in the attachment when posting this complaint - if you need more, I can send more, but all of them will be the same level of (un)intelligibility like the original one. It is completely understandable if you don't understand it completely (or at least what it represents) if you are not IT savvy; therefore I would like to encourage you to ask one of the IT guys there in casino.guru for assistance. I'm sure that together you will come to similar conclusions like me (as well as like the mentioned 3rd party where i verified my words).

In short, every honest casino site that wants to host a provider's slot games on their site is required to "connect" the player with the official server (maybe there are also other possible channels or ways to implement this - but all of them must be legit and official). Thanks to this, you could check if you are communicating with a game hosted on a server with officially known domain while you play.

To be exact here, legit Novomatic games are hosted on servers with domain like nrgs-b2b.greentube.com.mt, (there are also few slightly different ones, but there is always included the "greentube" somewhere in the domain). You could check in my screenshots that the domain on the jinxcasino is something like cdn.sslgames.net. This domain is also the same like the one where NetEnt games are hosted - this makes the situation 10x more eyebrow-raising 🙂

To make it even simpler - imagine that you somehow manage to steal graphics and overall engine of a slot software provider and you would create literally the same game(s) on your own computer, and you would run your own casino with that games. They would look exactly the same, but you would have 100% control over every aspect of the gameplay (for example, you could set RTP to 0% anytime you want; or add a new winning symbol of a fat pink unicorn into a game containing only fruit symbols).

The usage of only licensed slot game providers and their official sources prevents this to happen; on the contrary, using not licensed and suspicious or even well-known fake games open the gates for such unfair practices and should be publicly stated (like that Pelican casino I mentioned above).

Thank you very much foofoobarken for your reply. I will now transfer your complaint to my colleague Matej (matej@casino.guru) who will be at your assistance. I wish you the best of luck and hope to see your problem being resolved to your satisfaction soon.

Hello foofoobarken.

I am sorry to hear about your troubles.

After you wrote your complaint, we did some investigation too and we discovered that this casino has also a fake license.

So it is highly probable that the RTP was lower than on the original games too.

I would like now to invite the casino representative to the case.

Please explain to us why the casino uses a fake license and not genuine games.

We would like to ask Jinx Casino to reply to this complaint. We are extending the timer by 7 days. If the casino fails to respond in the set time frame, we will close the complaint as ‘unresolved’.

I am sure they will not reply at all; same like to my emails and live chat questionings.

I would happily admit that I was wrong, but I doubt it happens

Unfortunatelly, the casino is non-responsive.

Usually, I would recommend contacting licensing authority, but the casino has a fake license.

In such case, please get in touch with this company: https://mychargeback.com/

They will help you to get your deposits back.

Please let me know that you contacted the company, and I will close the complaint as unresolved.

I don't really expect anyone to be able to intervene and recover the funds, or do anything with it at all, as the cryptocurrency transactions is not revertable by definition..

Despite that, I have already contacted this company (more for the sake of curiosity, than finding the odds in m y favor).

Thank you all for your cooperation on this complaint in the first place.

Matej, thank you for sharing this information - I was not aware of this option at all! Really curious about what is this gonna result into 🙂

Please, try to pull this casino more into the "most red" reputation score class (or simply as low as possible in rating) so nobody will be fooled into that this rating is just some sort of fault or mistake. Same with their sister casinos - Casineia, Gamblii, Hypersino and Slothive, not sure which of them do you actually list here already - as you have probably found out yourselves, they all could be found together here on their fake Antilllephone "validation" link.

Stay safe, live happily, keep fingers crossed for the UA (and passports ready - just in case)...

Goodbye till next time

Hello foofoobarken.

In the case of crypto, the chances are lower, but they helped several players get their deposits back in the past, and we have only good experience with them.

Unfortunatelly we are forced to close this complaint as unresolved, which will negatively impact the casino's rating.
