I don’t sorry. Code 7995 is gambling if they had of used this code and you have a gambling block then the bank should reject it but they use other codes to bypass.
I raised this with hsbc through the chat. Amount 4000£. And done it with barclays through help with this transaction for 5000£. God help me. Will keep you updated
Barclays were ok for me, although credit cards not debit played in my favour. Visa seem to be better than Mastercard, I am having a game with Chase not huge amounts but still want it back

I'm finding HSBC difficult to deal with, mine is currently under investigation I'm hopefully getting a callback today. They asked if the funds I deposited entered my account, I said yes but that's not the point here. It was a credit card. I'll keep you updated

I rang them and went through to about 4 different people ( they're not very helpful) I would just be honest, that's what I've done. Explaining about the incorrect merchant code where they are deceiving the banks. I was just upfront and honest about the whole situation. Just make sure you have copies of statements from the casino in case they require them. It's really hard mate. Not an easy ride but certainly I have learnt a lesson with all of this offshore gambling. This is what I've done personally and not saying weather or not it's the correct route to take, I felt it was as would be easier to prove things.
