Lottie is blowing smoke. I got no answer from them at all. It’s a .org. The company that shows on my credit card is Visiola Ltd based out of UK as far as I can tell.
I tried, but my bank (or credit card issuer to be more precise) said the transactions happened too long ago for them to take any action on my behalf, which was understandable to be honest…
General question - has anyone managed to get any refunds in cases were the merchant seems to have links to Estonia , Ukraine or random African countries? Don’t think I’ve ever gotten any response in those cases. Guess the jurisdictions regarding these practices are non-existant in those countries.
Tnrsscript
Ad wadata
Legal Services attorn
i have all these three. No Idea what Tnrsscript or Legal Sevices attorn refers to. Asked my bank all they could see is that Tnrsscript is based in London
ad wadata simply doesn’t reply. none of the african ones reply
I’m starting to believe that Mastercard / Visa simply are letting the miscoding practices kind of slip through. I mean the gambling industry is huge and I guess they earn some money on each transaction?
They just blame the merchants/acquirers/banks and they blame eachother. I’m sure they could prevent this is they really wanted.
Reading this thread, you see the same merchants / payment providers over and over again, which must mean that nothing is done to penalize or shut them down.
I am not blowing smoke!! I got the refunds from Visiola Foundation. What on earth would I be trying to achieve by making this up🤦♀️
So, I did a visa chargeback via my credit card for invalid MCC code, as there is a block on credit cards, but all my bank have said is "the other bank has declined it" and that's the end of it apparently that was 1 day after raising the dispute, the merchant is a fake tech company in Kenya who unsurprisingly have not replied to my emails, i dont understand, surely the other bank would have to contact the merchant for info, any ideas?
