It somehow doesn't matter how long it takes in Austria as long as the verdict is of no use anyway
It somehow doesn't matter how long it takes in Austria as long as the verdict is of no use anyway
a submission to the ECJ has so far been rejected? is there more information about this?
This is discussed in the G+L video.
The courts in Malta have so far rejected it - but rightly so, according to the lawyers.
There is simply nothing at the ECJ here yet, you probably have to complete 1000 days of negotiations in Malta before enforcement is rejected after 30 years, then you can appeal to the ECJ against the rejected enforcement. Nothing happens here before that... the word "law" should not be used in connection with this farce because of course it has nothing to do with law.
Here it is constantly mixed with some submissions to the ECJ regarding German gambling legislation - that has absolutely nothing to do with enforcement, these submission questions were fabricated by casino lawyers in order to delay German proceedings - apparently successful since they are now suspended until the ECJ decides - As an Austrian, all of this affects you exactly 0
Well, it certainly has something to do with that.
In general, it's just playing for time anyway... but these questions lie with the ECJ
It's always about the same thing. Public order Bill 55 or 56 Gaming Act
that's the same legal question!
Look at GL's videos, it was mentioned again there. It's always about the same thing. With us the monopoly has been clarified. If these questions are finally clarified and decided, our procedures there will also go through.
No, this is not about Bill55 at all. What they have submitted to the ECJ is about whether German gambling law complies with European law. Abelinglaekamp has discussed why this is being discussed again there. He talks a lot of nonsense - but in this case his statements are conclusive - casino lawyer against casino in order to delay German proceedings that now have to wait for the ECJ again.....In order for Bill55 to be dealt with there, the enforcement proceedings in Malta must first be lost go
In the proceedings in Malta it is stated in exactly the same way in relation to Gaming Act 56, which is also stated here in the questions referred.
That's exactly the issue, the casinos are keeping their doors open. How do you think they would argue in the Austrian proceedings if they theoretically received approval from the ECJ?
This is related to all procedures.
The point is that they then argue with public order in all German executions.
Lottoland and the lottery is a monopoly, just like we are. It's purely about the monopolies and the alleged freedom to provide services.
I think I've already read through 20 procedures and it's always the same in ours.
As soon as the ECJ finally does something about it, they won't be able to do anything anymore and many German players will then sue.
They probably pay out of court, but whether they know what to expect is another question...
Many German players are already complaining because the litigation financiers offer it there just like we do, now the proceedings are being suspended because they have managed to get the ECJ to decide again on the alleged freedom to provide services, which it has already decided a long time ago anyway
In Germany, many casinos apparently still pay out of court.
That will certainly change for some who don't have a license
Exactly
but it's all connected. It's all about the money anyway...
Maybe they continue unabashedly, but in Austria I have already read that from 2027 there will only be one license 😂 for online gambling. So the whole thing continues merrily... how sick they all are
So everything will go through the lawsuits or they will pull you back from the market but who will believe that? There's a lot of money involved
Hey there, and thanks for your keen eye!
In the worst case, one of us would spot this kind of promotion tomorrow morning.
After a long time as a silent reader, I signed up to report briefly.
After more than 15 years of gambling addiction, I finally put an end to it last fall and tried to get some of my losses back.
Unfortunately Bill55 was already up to date…
I can report the following from the various casinos:
A well-known sports betting and casino provider based in Malta has offered a settlement for a four-figure sum. I accepted it, it worked without any problems and I received money.
3 providers submitted lists. These have been evaluated and a lawsuit has been filed.
1 provider still owes lists.
The big chunk of losses (high 5 digits) lies with Jokerstars. I was told that this operator generally doesn't pay and that the PKF is currently waiting for the test cases against the CEO of Stars... so I assume that I will probably never see this money again. But it's already playful, so I can only win if something else comes along.
