Case summary

The player from Greece had his account closed by the casino after he deposited using a friend's crypto wallet, despite not placing any bets. Although he understands the account closure, he is frustrated that the casino confiscated his deposit of 0.781 LTC (approximately 92 euros) and refuses to refund it, as he did not use the funds for gambling.

I created an account and in my second i transferred crypto throught my friends wallet, anyway i didnt even placed any bets and i asked the support to remove my deposit bonus from my first deposit, so they dont mix with the real balance of my new deposit. I guess it flagged in their system that i deposited with someone else's crypto wallet, my friend who has his own account and has used this wallet for his account before. I was waiting to see what will happen and provided them with all the details never hiding anything from them and finally they came to the conclusion that this was not allowed and they had to close my account for violation, which is fine by me. The thing is that the seized my deposit and refuse to refund it to me. I am not here claiming any winnings but is absurd the not refund my deposit, which i didnt use. I didnt gamble it away, it was solid in my balance all the time. The amount is 0.781 LTC (Litecoin) aprox 92 euro

"Payments

For deposits and withdrawals, you should only use bank accounts and credit cards held in your own name. If you don't do this, you might get into trouble when trying to make a withdrawal. This rule is mostly in place to prevent credit card misuse and also because of international anti-money-laundering regulations."

Please understand that this rule has been breached. Some exceptions might be allowed by casinos when depositing or withdrawing funds using a joint card or this possibility is communicated beforehand. Technically it is very difficult to check who’s the owner of the payment method at the depositing stage. It is a player’s responsibility to use allowed payment methods only.

If you’re not able to prove that you are a legitimate owner of the payment method and you haven’t received approval from the casino allowing you to use a third-party payment method, I’m afraid there’s not much we can do for you.

This is not a bank account, the deposit was made with cryptocurrency. Anyway they can do as they please and close the account, but how can they not refund the deposit? How are they allowed to tell me that I will not get refunded my deposit? They were very rude in the chat and once I told them that they are not allowed to seize deposits like this since they don't provide anything and I would report them here, the support kicked me out of the chat without letting me download the whole transcript or even explaining anything. After that, the site doesn't provide support without logging in and obviously I cannot login because the account is closed, so I could only email the support team. They don't respond. I repeat I DIDN'T play or wager anything. NOTHING. I don't claim winnings or loses.

I believe the owner of the funds should contact the casino and request a refund.
