The player from the United States had a verified account with DraftKings. The player had previously self-excluded from the Scoreboard app, and as DraftKings took over as the operator replacing Scoreboard, their account was deactivated without their request. After a closer examination, we ended up rejecting this complaint as unjustified.

I have a verified account over 5 years with draftkings. I live in Oregon. In 2019, Oregon legalized sportsbetting and it was run by the oregon lottery and scoreboard was the operator. 2022 they let go of scoreboard and draftking took over as the operator.


After a few month of scoreboard went live in Oregon, I download the app and self exclusion myself for life from the scoreboard app not because I have a gambling problem but because I just didn't want to have access to it. So once draftkings took over, my account was deactivated because of I self exclusion from scoreboard. I never ask for my draftkings account to be disable.

No I have not ever request my account to be deactivated or saying I have a gambling problem. I use draftking for entertainment purpose. I don't play it everyday, day and night. Maybe maybe 5 to 10 days per month. They should have my play record and check it. No fund were withheld.

I don't have any evidence except emailing from them telling me to talk to oregon lottery that run scoreboard. When I talk to oregon lottery they told me go talk to draftkings.

And I never said I have a gambling problem to scoreboard. I just didn't want to used scoreboard that's why I block it

Please understand, that we can’t penalize the casino for closing your account. Casinos, in general, have a right to restrict or even close players’ accounts if they suspect irregular play or other questionable activities or for no reason at all. 

If the casino paid out all the winnings and no funds are being held, I’m afraid, there’s not much we can do for you.
