Hello, I don’t know if you able to help but I made a deposit using a third party card. I used that card numerous of time when I won little amount but betfred didn’t say anything.

but as I won big which is 1909.00 they decided to blocked my account due to the 3rd party card.

this is not fair I haven’t done anything illegal I have all the proof and all the details and permission for the 3rd party card.

there was no term and condition agreement when signing up to betfred. Furthermore they allowed me to make the transaction numerous of times but nothing happened but this time they blocked my account and there is 1909.00 retained in my account.

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your problem. I have checked the Terms and Conditions, and this is what I found:

Placing bets with us and playing our games
  1. Your funds. The funds you place in your account must be your own and not those of any other person or from a business (other than a third party payment provider that we accept). We will not allow you to place a bet or play a game unless you have sufficient funds in your account to cover the bet or stake.

Furthermore, please check our Fair Gambling Codex for Players:

  • For deposits and withdrawals, you should only use bank accounts and credit cards held in your own name. If you don't do this, you might get into trouble when trying to make a withdrawal. This rule is mostly in place to prevent credit card misuse and also because of international anti-money-laundering regulations.

 Please understand that this rule has been breached. Some exceptions might be allowed by casinos when depositing or withdrawing funds using a joint card or this possibility is communicated beforehand. Technically it is very difficult to check who’s the owner of the payment method at the depositing stage. This can be checked only during the account verification, which is usually done when a withdrawal is requested. Therefore, it is a player’s responsibility to use allowed payment methods only.

If you’re not able to prove that you are a legitimate owner of the payment method and you haven’t received approval from the casino allowing you to use a third-party payment method, I’m afraid there’s not much we can do for you. they allowed me to use the same bank account before with little amount I have it on my bank statement and I deposited and withdrawal the money with no trouble they did not say anything but as soon as I won big amount they blocked the account.

they haven’t contacted the bank either so it’s ridiculous for them to take the payment and then closed the account.

they shouldn’t allow to take the payment in the first place instead of blocking the account with the funds.

Many casinos verify the players' identity documents only after they submit a withdrawal request. So you may have used a third-person payment card several times for depositing, but as soon as you requested a withdrawal, the casino asked you to pass KYC verification. When the casino finds out that you used funds that did not belong to you for depositing, they are eligible to close your account and forfeit all your winnings.
