Case summary

The player from Italy was unable to withdraw winnings from Shuffle. The casino claimed a violation of terms and conditions due to the use of a VPN and engaging in sure bets. The player contested the casino's interpretation of these terms. The player admitted to using a VPN but claimed it was not used while betting on Shuffle. He also acknowledged engaging in sure bets, but argued that Shuffle should not have been concerned with his betting activities on other platforms. We contacted the casino for more information, but ultimately had to reject the player's complaint due to its relation to sports betting, which fell outside our area of expertise.

Hi everyone,

never had a such strange experience with a bookie.

I recently encountered a frustrating situation with shuffle. I requested a withdrawal over 10 days ago after completing all required verifications. However, they've refused to pay out my winnings, citing breaches of their terms and conditions.

Their reasons for withholding my winnings seem unreasonable to me. They claim I breached terms by using a VPN once (probabily i connected from a device in which the VPN was switched on, never seen a crypto bookie banning vpn) and by engaging in sure bets on their platform (i admit have covered just one of my bets placed on shuffle betting on other bookies). According to them, using a VPN and making sure bets are violations of their terms and conditions.

I believe their interpretation of the terms is unjust and I'm entitled to receive my winnings.

is this a bookie?

Dear ceronterino100,

Thank you very much for submitting this complaint. I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience with Shuffle Casino. I have checked the Terms and conditions, and this is what I found:

7.4. Any attempt to conceal your true location through the use of a VPN, proxy, or similar service or through the provision of incorrect or misleading information about your place of residence or location will constitute a breach of these Terms of Service.

Moreover, could you please specify what game you bet on that was classified as a "sure bet"?

Have you accumulated your winnings with or without an active bonus?

I hope we will be able to help you resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your reply.

Best regards

Veronika

Hello there,

I recently engaged in a surebet on the NCAA Women Live Match between the Georgia Lady Bulldogs Women and the Mississippi Rebels Women.

Here's what happened: I placed several bets on Shuffle for (T/T) outcome and hedged my bets elsewhere, specifically on Goldbet. In live basketball betting, odds can change rapidly, allowing for arbitrage opportunities between different platforms. As a result, I managed to secure an arbitrage bet between Shuffle and Goldbet, resulting in a net win of approximately 600 euros on Shuffle.

I find it puzzling why Shuffle would take issue with me covering bets elsewhere. From my perspective, it shouldn't be of concern to them where else I place my bets.

I did not get or use any bonus. Only used my deposited funds to bet

Regarding the VPN issue, I typically have the NordVPN extension enabled on Chrome. While I usually exclude Shuffle.com from the VPN's routing, there may have been instances where the split tunneling feature failed, inadvertently routing my connection through the VPN. However, I want to clarify that I don't recall placing any bets on Shuffle while connected through the VPN, and I consistently maintained my Italian IP address, with only rare exceptions.

Thank you for the update.

As you might know, our forum Casino.Guru deals with complaints regarding online casinos only. I understand it must be difficult for you, but unfortunately, we don’t have enough insight to take on this kind of issue, related to sports betting. I can contact the casino on your behalf and try to get some more information, but at the same time, I will be forced to reject your complaint.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

Best regards

Veronika
