Case summary

The player from Belgium had received a no-deposit bonus of €50 and, after playing, had requested a cashout of €4000. However, his account was closed, and the casino claimed he had exploited the bonus option for €100,000, threatening legal action, despite him not having received any actual money. The player expressed a desire to move on from the situation, acknowledged a website error, and stated he did not want to pursue any winnings or reopen the complaint. The complaint was rejected by the Complaints Team at the player's explicit request, and he was provided with resources to assist with his gambling addiction.

Hello,

Few days ago i logged in and saw a bonus buttom no deposit bonus i clicked on it and got 50 euro free bonus. I played it and lost all. But then the buttom was still there i thought maybe untill i succesfully get a cashout the buttom will stay there so i played untill i got a good cashout . I had to try a lot. Then requested 4000 duro cashout yesterday. Now my account is closed. I got into chat and they say i exploided the buttom for 100k and they gonna sue me. How in hell do they think they can sue me i did not receive any money in my bank account at all from this. I lost more then 10 thousand euros at this casino a while ago. If this was a mistake at theire casino website all good but its not my fault the buttom stayed there.

Dear Domien,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your negative experience with Powerbet777 Casino.

Please understand any free spins you might use represent an expense to the casino they require to pay the game provider.

Using the bonus repeatedly while it's obvious it should have been available only once or a few times is an exploit to gain an advantage over the casino and we might not assist you with a withdrawal of such winnings.

Lastly, we don't interfere in matters surrounding legal proceedings. If you seek representation, kindly contact a lawyer to represent you.

Please allow me to ask you a few questions, so I can better understand the situation.

  • Could you please advise how many times you activated the bonus?
  • Do I understand correctly the 4000€ withdrawal was achieved using the no-deposit bonus?
  • If there is any evidence that would support your case please share it with me here in the form of screenshots or send the information to my email at tomas@casino.guru

Thank you very much in advance for your reply.

Best regards,

Tomas

probebly more then a 1000 times. First i thought it stayed there until i reached an amount. But after a while i thought maybe its until i get a good cashout so they get me back as a loyal costumer. Its not my fault if this bottom stayed. I can not know how many times i could use this or not. Thats not my job as a costumer. The 4000 was with bonus money archieved. So if it was an error that the bottom stayed there i dont have a single problem that i dont get any winnings and i dont have problems that they closed my account. To be clear i did not receive any money at my bank by using the bottom at all and i dont make a complaint here to get any money at all. I want this case to be closed with the casino.and to be clear and honest its not my fault if theire website isnt working how it should. How do i know how many times i couldve claimed the bonus? So saying im exploiding something is wrong. Its not my fault. But like i said i dont ask for my withdrawel or something i just want to settle this with the casino and move on. I dont like to be called a thief or scammer for something that is not my fault!

And to answer youre text also that it should be obvious that you can only use it once or more times? Whats obvious about it? Is it my job to make sure the website works? Im not making this difficult at all. I understand now that there was an error on the website and im fine with no getting payed anything im also fine with my account being closed. The part i dont like is they wanne sue me because of a mistake on theire website? Thats not okay for me. All i ask that this gets cleared with the casino and we move on. I have a gambling addiction and i started a program now to quit gambling forever and i dont want this shit dragging me down every day.so i say to the casino sorry but i wanne move on. And i see there was an error on the website and lets close this and no hard feelings and move on.

We’ve rejected this complaint as per the player’s explicit request. We are sorry we could not be of more help on this occasion. Please do not hesitate to contact us in the future if you run into issues with this or any other casino. We are here to help.

I can recommend a few resources to help you with your endeavor to block yourself from gambling:

If you have any open accounts in online casinos, I would like to call your attention to our Self-Exclusion Assistance Tool https://casino.guru/global-self-exclusion-initiative/assistance-tool

This tool will make it easier for you to block your casino accounts across multiple gambling establishments simultaneously and is not affiliated with any specific casino. The Self-Exclusion Assistance Tool was designed to assist individuals who may be facing challenges with their gambling habits by helping them limit their access to gambling and reduce the potential for further harm.

If gambling is becoming a burden, it is highly advisable to seek professional assistance. I strongly recommend reaching out to centers in your country that specialize in addressing gambling problems. You can find some of these centers by referring to the following link https://casino.guru/problem-gambling-help-centers#cnt_24=true

As part of our Global Self-Exclusion Initiative, we've partnered with BetBlocker, a UK-registered charity providing a free service to support people worldwide. You can find more information about our initiative here https://casino.guru/global-self-exclusion-initiative and about BetBlocker here https://betblocker.org/

BetBlocker, which supports seven languages, is quick and easy to install on multiple devices, taking just 2 minutes. Once installed, it blocks access to over 84,230 gambling websites and runs quietly in the background. The service can be used anonymously and helps individuals manage their access to gambling safely and appropriately, whether that means complete restriction or limiting access during vulnerable periods.

Additionally, BetBlocker includes a list of 824 gambling information sites. These sites primarily inform users about and advertise gambling services. You can choose to include these sites in your restriction by ticking a box. However, if you have an ongoing complaint against a gambling operator, do not check this box, as it will prevent you from accessing the Casino.Guru website as well.
