Palms Bet Casino - Player disputes third-party ID request for verification.

I deposited money twice using someone else's account and when I wanted to withdraw my winnings from Palms Bet, they required me to photograph my friend's ID card. What right do they have to request information about a third party, especially when they have no contract obligations with that person but only me? I will provide this information with a picture of my own ID card. My question is, aren't they breaking the law by asking for a picture of an ID card of someone with whom they do not have any contract obligations?

Furthermore, please check our Fair Gambling Codex for Players: 

"For deposits and withdrawals, you should only use bank accounts and credit cards held in your own name. If you don't do this, you might get into trouble when trying to make a withdrawal. Please understand that this rule has been breached. Some exceptions might be allowed by casinos when depositing or withdrawing funds using a joint card or this possibility is communicated beforehand. Technically it is very difficult to check who’s the owner of the payment method at the depositing stage. This can be checked only during the account verification, which is usually done when a withdrawal is requested. Therefore, it is a player’s responsibility to use allowed payment methods only. 

If you’re not able to prove that you are a legitimate owner of the payment method and you haven’t received approval from the casino allowing you to use a third-party payment method, I’m afraid there’s not much we can do for you.

If I understood you correctly, they have the legal right to ask for a photo of my friend's ID card / even though he is not registered with Palms Bet / in order to unblock my account.

The casino is entitled to request information about the payment methods used for deposits. However, since you used a payment method that does not belong to you, it is now up to the casino to decide whether to confiscate the winnings and refund the deposits to the owner of the payment method.

Unfortunately, we do not handle such cases further, as third-party payments are strictly prohibited in online casinos unless explicitly allowed beforehand.
