Case summary

The player from Argentina had deposited $209 to his MyStake Casino account but mistakenly sent it to the wrong wallet address. He had provided all necessary information for the casino to rectify the issue. However, the casino confirmed that the funds had been sent using the wrong blockchain (LTC) and thus, they couldn't assist the player. We suggested the player contact Binance, his e-wallet provider, to see if they could retrieve the funds. Unfortunately, the complaint was rejected as there was nothing more we could have done to assist.

Hello there.. I am hoping you could assist me since it is a significant amount of money in question. I'll explain: at mystake, one can deposit funds using cryptocurrencies. I deposited $209 using Litecoin. However, when I attempted to deposit funds into my account, I mistakenly sent it to an incorrect address. This address was provided by mystake in my account. But I mistakenly entered the Ethereum cryptocurrency address. Hence, the funds never arrived as they were sent to the Ethereum network. While this issue isn't hard to resolve, I do not have possession of the relevant wallet. The casino or the casino's support holds it. Thus, they should rectify this matter by utilizing the information I provided. They asked for a screenshot of the transaction, the addresses to which I transferred the cryptocurrencies and, in the end, for the Hash, a code that tracks the transaction. On two different occasions, they acknowledged that it was my mistake, which is true. Also, twice, they conveyed that there is a solution and asked for the mentioned information. They informed me that they would get in contact via email once they obtain any updates from casino support. This issue, however, should not be so time-consuming to resolve. Moreover, $209 is quite a considerable amount for me. As they have access to all the casino networks, they could reroute the cryptocurrencies to my account's appropriate Litecoin network. It has been more than a day, and I am yet to hear from them via email. I’m hopeful this can be resolved, and I won't lose my money. I appreciate your assistance very much. Your website has been very helpful. I eagerly await your response.

Just in case, I've also sent this message in English..

Hello... I hope that you might be able to help me as this is a considerable sum of money for me. I’m explaining this to you: in mystake, one can charge their account with cryptocurrencies, and I did so with $209 worth of Litecoin. I submitted a deposit to the account, but mistakenly sent it to the wrong address. This address was provided by mystake within my account, but I entered the Ethereum cryptocurrency address by mistake. Hence, the money never arrived, because it was directed to the Ethereum network. This issue isn't hard to resolve, but I don't own the wallet — it is owned by the casino, or the casino's support team. They have the responsibility to rectify the situation using the information I provided. They asked me for a screenshot of the transaction, including the addresses where I sent the cryptocurrencies, and finally, the Hash — this is a code that tracks the transaction. They acknowledged twice that the mistake was mine, which is indeed true. Yet twice, they reassured me that a solution exists and asked for this information. They promised to contact me via email as soon as there were updates from casino support. Resolving this issue shouldn't take so much time. It's worth noting that this $209 is a significant sum of money for me. They have access to all the casino networks and should redirect the cryptocurrencies to an appropriate Litecoin network associated with my account. It has been over a day now, and no one has contacted me via email. I'm hopeful that this issue will be resolved without wasting my money. I appreciate your assistance in advance, and the aid your website offers is excellent. I eagerly anticipate your response.

Hello,

We have investigated that case, and according to it, the user tried to deposit via ETH but mistakenly transferred the money via LTC, which hasn't reached out to us. Thus we can't help the user.

Also, we can provide you with the detailed information via email.

Kind regards,

Mystake

Hello, yes I contacted them through emails. And I gave him all the necessary information.. I explained what happened and they gave him time to solve it. It's been 2 weeks now.. They sent me an email from mystake payments saying now that I should send them a video making another deposit to see the mistake. . I don't understand why it costs so much to divert funds to the correct network.

Hi all,

Thank you for your replies.

Dear Marce4215,

The casino and the provided evidence confirmed that the funds were sent using the wrong blockchain (LTC). I'm afraid there's nothing we can do to help you. In general, if you use the wrong blockchain, the funds can be considered lost. Under some specific conditions, it may be possible to retrieve it (e.g. BEP-20 to ERC-20 transactions) but this case is different. I suggest you contact Binance and ask if there's something they can do to get your funds back. Unfortunately, your complaint will be rejected. I wish I could be of more help.

Best regards,

Peter
