The player from Brazil has deposited funds into his account from his wife’s credit card. We closed this complaint because the player breached one of the most basic rules of online gambling by using a 3rd party payment method to fund his account.
I made a deposit of 100 brl with my wife's card and they removed the funds from the account but did not credit the casino for over 24 hours
Dear Killmem,
Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your problem. I have checked the terms and conditions, and this is what I found:
„8.3 You will deposit funds to your account only from the account/system and/or payment cards registered in your name. The Company does not accept funds from third parties (friends, relatives, partners, spouses) and people under the age of majority. If, during a verification, we discover that this provision has been violated, all your winnings will be confiscated and returned to the Company’s account. At the same time, a bank transfer will not be carried out to return funds, since the rules of the Company were violated."
Furthermore, please check our Fair Gambling Codex for Players:
"Payments
For deposits and withdrawals, you should only use bank accounts and credit cards held in your own name. If you don't do this, you might get into trouble when trying to make a withdrawal. This rule is mostly in place to prevent credit card misuse and also because of international anti-money-laundering regulations."
Please understand that this rule has been breached. Some exceptions might be allowed by casinos when depositing or withdrawing funds using a joint card or this possibility is communicated beforehand. Technically it is very difficult to check who’s the owner of the payment method at the depositing stage. This can be checked only during the account verification, which is usually done when a withdrawal is requested. Therefore, it is a player’s responsibility to use allowed payment methods only.
If you’re not able to prove that you are a legitimate owner of the payment method and you haven’t received approval from the casino allowing you to use a third-party payment method, I’m afraid there’s not much we can do for you.
Thank you very much in advance for your reply and understanding.
Best regards,
Kristina
Good morning, unfortunately it was the first time I deposited in this casino and I regularly use my wife's card, I did not know about the casino rule, could I return the money, please.
I have already deposited in other casinos when they did not accept my wife's card, they immediately refund the amount to the account, they are using the casino rules in bad faith.
I have nothing against the casino I researched through the guru here to deposit, because it has a high score I thought I could trust it. But I don't think it deserves the score it has, because they use their own rules to harm the unwary.
Thank you for your reply, Killmem. Please note that the vast majority of online casinos have a rule like this and it doesn't make them bad or unfair, actually, quite the opposite. Casinos often must have such rules to follow the requirements of the licensing authority and their AML (anti-money laundering) policy. I can only recommend that you never use someone else's payment methods to deposit, because next time your loss could be much more destructive than a lost deposit, as casinos usually confiscate winnings accumulated with a 3rd party deposit without hesitation. And they have the full right to do so.
Due to the aforementioned reasons, this complaint will now be rejected. Thank you for your understanding, I am sorry we could not be of more help on this occasion. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you run into any issues with this or any other casino in the future.
