Case summary

The player from the US had used a bonus code and after playing and meeting the required conditions, had a balance of over $1,400. When she attempted to withdraw this, the casino had denied her request claiming she had exceeded the maximum bet allowed by the coupon. She had sought help to retrieve her winnings. After reviewing the case, we found that the player had acknowledged betting more than the allowed amount while playing through the bonus. Consequently, we had been unable to provide assistance due to the player's violation of the bonus terms and conditions. The complaint was rejected due to these reasons.

I rec'd an email regarding a new online casino, so I thought I would give it a try, normally I don't use the casino bonus codes because I want to cash out my winnings when I'm done, and bonuses have rules, but I chose........ CRYPTO BONUS 2!Deposit $30 via crypto and we will boost your casino balance to $75 twice per week! Term and conditions apply.... This code can be redeemed once per day and up to twice per week.  So I put in the bonus code hit the accept button and started to play Penguin Paloosa  When I say casinos have bonus rules the main rule being a play thru amount must be met before u can cash out any winnings, which they have a breakdown of how much u have wagered and how much more u need to wager before u would be able to cash out. So I checked the first time and I still needed to wager over $2,500, so I bumped up my slot bet from $2 to $2.25 and eventually the next amount was $6.25 I thought about it for a minute thinking I'm already at over $600 on my balance and realized if I wanted to make the play thru amount I would have to bet higher so I raised my bet and continued playing. Not long after I hit like a scatter bonus I GOT ALL 5 Dancing penguins and was awarded over $1,000 for that spin, by then I had been playing for awhile so I went to go check how much more needed to be wagered and to my amazement the system said I had reached the play thru amount and could cash out my winnings. I was SO EXCITED I'd never before reached the play thru amount anywhere. So I had played my money down to a little over $1400 which I chose to cash out. Went thru everything, all their verification processes and went to online chat to ask how long it should take?? She gave me the speech saying once they r done reviewing my request I will rec an email telling me my money was on the way ( I don't have a copy of the live chat as I was told each chat agent can only bring up their own chat logs ) and since was a diff chat agent he didn't have them ...But instead I rec'd an email telling me ..

I hope this email finds you well.

When we came across to review your payout request, the accounts team noticed that that you have exceeded the maximum bet allowed on the coupon claimed by placing $6.25 bets when playing Penguin Palooza.

In the coupon terms it's stated that during play players bet may not exceed $5 and the bonus play is active as long as the bonus funds remain in the account balance regardless of the wagering requirement. This maximum includes any additions to your original bet including raises, doubles and certain slots features, and remains in place as long as the bonus funds remain in your balance.

While we sincerely hope you enjoyed playing this chip, we cannot unfortunately pay out on this win, however we do hope that you continue to play and enjoy your time with us.

We have now returned the deposit to your casino balance and you can play these funds as you wish with no restrictions in place.

If you have any comments or questions at all regarding this please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Kind Regards,

Rachel

Dear chiffygirl,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about the issue and understand your frustration. I carefully checked the Bonus Terms on the website, and this is what I found (here):

When playing with any bonus offer or credit your wagers must be $10 or less. Your wagers must be $5 or less if the bonus claimed is 100% or more of your deposit value, or if redeemed prior to your first purchase. Customer services cannot override this restriction.

We would like to see casinos implementing systems that would prevent players from placing higher than allowed bets, but, unfortunately, this is not a standard practice yet.

Please do not hesitate to forward your game history in Excel format along with any relevant communication to petronela.k@casino.guru if you feel that you’ve been accused mistakenly.

  • Additionally, can you inform me whether your balance is divided into two parts upon activating a promotional offer, or if it is presented as a single "bonus balance"?
  • Can you provide details on the specific bonus you activated and utilized?

I hope we will be able to help you to resolve this issue and receive your winnings as soon as possible. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Petronela

hi Petronela,

the bonuses say very little about them, like the 1 I claimed just shows it was CryptoBonus2 states for a $30 DEPO they boost ur balance to $75, they will allow that 2xs per week with a $30 DEPO each time. then it just says Terms and Conditions apply u have to go in deep to even see the $5 limit then imposed on the bets, I guess I was in a hurry and didn't see it, while trying to pick a game to play.. I don't feel like they mistakenly accused me of wagering $6.25 on some of my spins, cuz I did.... I was trying to make it past the play thru of over $2500 so in my mind I needed to bet more than the $2.25 I was betting, so when I looked to see what the next wagering amt was it was $6.25 nothing in between $2.25 and $6.25 and I knew by wagering $6.25 wouldn't be to long b4 I made it past the play thru. the bonuses don't show much detail to them and like I said u have to really be looking for the terms and conditions to see them. U also asked me if the bonuses were shown as 1 money amt or more? on the casino home page there r 2 buttons 1 shows a wallet the other says cashier when u click on the money amt it breaks down what is ur playable balance or ur depo, and shows withdrawal balance so as ur playing u can chk to see how much u still have to wager to really win on that on those games... I hope I answered ur questions and ty so much for helping me to try to get my winnings ur awesome ... anymore questions I will do my best to answer u in a timely mannor

Hi chiffygirl,

Since you acknowledge that you placed bets larger than the allowed amount while fulfilling the bonus wagering requirements, I regret to inform you that we won't be able to provide assistance. We always advise reviewing the basic bonus rules before commencing play, either by reading the bonus terms or contacting live chat or customer support.

I wish I could be of more help. I’m sorry we couldn’t help you to resolve this case, but please do not hesitate to contact us if you run into any issues with any other casino in the future. For the abovementioned reasons, I will now reject this complaint. Thank you for your understanding.
