Giga Jar slot online for free in demo mode. Play free casino games, no download required. Expert review included.
Giga Jar highlights just how good Push Gaming is at making cluster-pay slots about jars. Fans of the Jammin Jars titles will find plenty of fun to be had with Giga Jar.
Read full reviewGiga Jar is a fruit-themed slot from the creative minds at Push Gaming. The slot is based around a group of fruity jars jamming out while they spin the reels at a club.
Fans of the Jammin' Jars slot and its sequel, Jammin' Jars 2, will recognise several elements of this game. While it is not an official spin-off, it is clear Push Gaming has gone back to one of its most successful slots for inspiration.
As we mentioned in the intro, Giga Jar clearly takes inspiration from the two Jammin Jars games, and this is the most apparent in its design. The slot is set inside a nightclub of some sort, with a jar stylised as a DJ sitting on the left-hand side of the game grid.
The slot’s reels are full of fruit symbols in a block shape. These include kiwis, oranges, blueberries, and oranges, among others.
The Giga Jar slot has a funky disco theme that really helps to create a fun atmosphere and is the kind of background music you are happy to leave playing as you spin.
Giga Jar is set up on an enhanced game grid. The slot uses seven reels, each displaying seven symbols. It is a cluster-pay slot, with wins being formed of five or more symbols clustered together anywhere on the grid.
Like a lot of cluster-pay slots, Giga Jar uses a cascading wins mechanic, with winning symbols disappearing from the grid. New symbols will then be added. If this leads to more winning clusters, then this continues until no more are formed.
The Giga Jar slot really bursts into life with its bonus features. The first you are likely to encounter are the Instant Prize Symbols. These can land on any spin, and are awarded when they land in a cluster of five or more. It is possible for these to be worth up to x1,000.
Next to the reels, you will spot three jars underneath the DJs. These will collect winning symbols during a cascade. When you have landed three consecutive wins, the first feature becomes active. This is a Wild Jar symbol that is added to the reels. This will then move to another position on the reels if it is used in a win. It will also leave behind another new Wild. If you get three Wilds on the reels, then you will get the next level.
This is the Giga Jar, a 2x2 symbol that will be added to the reels. It will remain on the reels for three more spins. After three spins, it becomes inactive. It will then require three consecutive clusters to activate it again.
When it returns, it will have a multiplier attached. This starts at x1 and increases with one each cascade. It can reach up to x50.
If that isn’t enough, there are two more features. The Snowball feature is triggered when you land a non-spinning win after two consecutive cascades. It will add two giant symbols to the grid. These can be up to 4x4.
The Ice-Breaker feature launches under the same circumstances as the Snowball feature. However, instead of adding anything, this removes up to three symbol types to trigger another cascade.
Depending on your location, an ante-bet style feature may be available to boost your chances of triggering a bonus.
The Giga Jar slot has some good potential wins to offer. The game has a maximum win of 10,000x your stake. It is considered highly volatile, which is something we recommend seeking in our slot strategy guide. It also scores above average with its RTP of 96.48%.
The stack of coins icon is used to change your stake. The minimum that can be wagered in the game is $0.10, and the maximum is $100.
Push Gaming has reigned in the maximum winning potential from the Jammin Jars slot games, but Giga Jar feels like a fitting spiritual successor to those titles. The game makes great use of its cluster-pay mechanic, and the bonus features lead to some really fun, highly volatile sequences of action.
