Gameplay

All the action of Razor Ways takes place on a set of six reels, each of which starts out with three rows of symbols.

Winning combinations are formed by matching symbols in sequential reels, starting from reel one and working to the right. When the player hits a winning combination, a cascade is triggered.

The cascade feature hooks out all the winning symbols, reveals an additional row above the current set, and allows new symbols to sink down into place from above the reels to replace the lost ones. New wins are fished for and if caught, they also trigger a cascade.

The number of rows can increase to a maximum of six. Since the game uses an anyways win system, each additional row massively increases the number of win ways available to the player.

Players can win up to a maximum of 25,000x the player’s bet, a massive cap for a slot game.

Wilds, Bonuses and Free Spins

The basic Wild symbol in Razor Ways has a massive gold-toothed shark’s face on it. You can tell this is the big villain of the game with his scowling eyes and scarred visage.

The Converter Wild selects a random symbol from the reels and converts all examples of this symbol into Wilds.

The Scatter Symbol triggers the Free Spin Bonus. The type of bonus is determined by the number of Scatter symbols the player lands.

For example, if the player lands the minimum to trigger the Free Spin Bonus (that is three Scatters) they receive 6 free spins, with an x1 initial multiplier, and three rows of symbols. However, if they land the maximum of six Scatters, then they get 10 free spins, with an x10 initial multiplier, and all six rows of symbols unlocked.

The player can increase the initial multiplier by landing special Glowing Mystery symbols that fill up a meter. When the meter is full, the total multiplier meter advances to the next level.

The Razor Reveal Bonus starts with every reel containing a Mystery symbol turning into the Gold Shark symbols. Each of the Gold Shark symbols is then turned to reveal a randomized prize.
