Get ready for a medieval battle in this Push Gaming slot as you join the Regal Knights for an epic adventure.
The slot is set in an old-fashioned town, and while the quaint houses and pretty flower boxes might seem inviting, the game grid is action-packed. The brightly-colored symbols land smoothly on the reels every time you spin, with subtle animations completing the experience.
The game comes with an appropriate soundtrack to accompany the knights into battle. It's a cutting tune featuring bold strings and a rhythmic beat to keep the knights marching.
The grid is made up of five reels each of which displays six symbols. The various knights are the high-paying symbols, while their weapons also pay out. To trigger a win, you'll need to get at least three of the same symbols on adjacent reels from left to right on one of the 50 fixed paylines.
There's no shortage of special features here, so gameplay is a bit more exciting than in your standard slot game.
The Wild symbol is represented by a large, gold W, and it can substitute for other regular symbols to complete winning combinations.
Keep an eye out for the Mystery Stacked symbol, which can land anywhere on the grid during the base game or Free Spins. All of these symbols transform into the same paying symbol.
There's also a Golden Mystery Stacked symbol, which triggers the Golden Feature. Each position containing one of these special symbols will spin through a range of different prizes. For example, you might get an Instant Prize, a Multiplier, or a Collector symbol. The Instant Prize symbol can have a value of up to 250x. Multipliers can hold a value of 2x, 3x, 5x, or 10x and they multiply the value of Instant Prizes and Collector symbols.
Scatter symbols can land on any of the reels, and if you get three or more, you'll enter the Free Spins round with eight free games.
During Free Spins, a Low Symbols Meter appears, and Scatters are collected into the meter. Each Low Symbol requires four Scatters to be converted into a Mystery Stacked Symbol. Additional Free Spins and Multipliers are added whenever this happens. Four Scatters starts you off with one symbol converted, while five gets you two converted already.
The minimum bet for this slot game is $/€/£0.10 and the maximum is $/€/£100 per spin. According to Push Gaming, the highest observed win on the game is 4,897.8x your stake amount.
The Return to Player (RTP) percentage of Regal Knights is 96.22%, which means it falls into the "above average" category and gets our stamp of approval. Unfortunately, the volatility of the game is low, so wins tend to be relatively frequent, but they're not very big. That makes for less exciting gameplay, so we generally tend to recommend higher-volatility games.
Regal Knights is an entertaining game with some cool graphics. We liked the addition of the Stacked Symbols, which adds a little more tension to each spin as you wait for them to be revealed. On the downside, the low volatility and relatively low maximum win amount don't make for super exciting gameplay. If you're looking for something relaxed with a cool theme, you might want to give it a spin.
