Gameplay

Mahjong Ways 2 is a five reel slot with rows arranged in a 4-5-5-5-4 pattern.

An any way wins system means that winning combinations are made by symbols anywhere on consecutive reels, starting from the leftmost reel.

A cascade feature removes winning symbols and allows new symbols to drop from above. Each cascade applies a multiplier to any wins, increasing the more times the cascade is triggered. Sadly, the multipliers don't stick around. They reset as soon as the current cascade ends.

The maximum win on any given round is capped at a truly massive 100,000x the player's bet.

Wilds, Bonuses and Free Spins

Wild symbols are triggered by Gold Plated symbols, these symbols transform into Wild when they are part of a winning combination. This then creates opportunities for more wins using other symbols during the following cascade spins.

When they appear, Wilds substitute for all other symbols except the Scatter.

If three or more Scatters land on a single spin, then they trigger a Free Spin Bonus. The player gets 10 free spins, during which the cascade multipliers are higher and additional Scatters each add 2 free spins to the total.
