Sizzling Hot Deluxe is a throwback in a new style; the game is a classic fruit machine but updated for the 21st Century.

The only concession to modernity is the option to play a double or nothing Gamble feature when you win allowing you to up your variance. Even then the gamble feature is a simple red/black game where you have to predict the colour of the next card drawn by the random number generator.

What you are left with is more or less an unadorned five reel, five win-line slot. You can't even adjust the number of win-lines.

Graphics, Sounds and Animations

The graphics are excellent. Simple, classic designs, with enough flair to make them feel modern but not to undercut the minimalist vibe of the game.

The animations are smooth and high def and your spins are accompanied by a satisfying clunking noise as if there were real mechanical wheels turning behind the screen. This also comes with the classic bell sounds of old slot machines and a satisfying win noise.

All in all the design is admirable.
