10 Jul 2025Revenge of Loki Megaways is a Norse-themed online slot game designed and developed by Pragmatic Play.
The Revenge of Loki Megaways slot brings Asgard, the mythical kingdom occupied by Loki, Thor, and the rest of their family, to life in stylish fashion. The game boasts solid graphics, with the Bifrost, a bridge used to connect the realms of the Gods, running into the background.
Loki's trademark helmet sits triumphantly on a cloud to the side of the reels, while Asgardian shields lie around the game grid. The reels are occupied by famous knights from the mythical kingdom, with Thor and Freya, Loki's siblings, also making appearances.
A calming soundtrack plays as you spin the reels, but this intensifies when you trigger the Free Spins bonus. The game also shifts to a fiery future, with Ragnarok reigning down as Asgard lies in ruins.
Revenge of Loki Megaways makes full use of the popular Megaways gameplay mechanic. The slot uses six reels, each of which can display between two and seven symbols. There is also a smaller reel under the grid that rolls horizontally.
The maximum number of Megaways that can be active on each spin is 117,649 Megaways. The current number of ways is displayed to the left of the game grid.
The first feature you are likely to encounter is the Tumble wins mechanic. Winning symbols are removed from the grid and new ones fall into their place. This continues until no new wins are formed.
Keep your eyes peeled for the Loki Super Symbol. When this lands on the bottom reel, it will place Wilds on the reel above it. Whenever it moves as part of a Tumble, it will randomly upgrade higher-paying symbols.
The main bonus is the Revenge of Loki Megaways Free Spins round. This triggers when you land four Scatters spelling LOKI. Players are given nine free spins, with each additional Scatter rewarded three more spins up to a maximum of 18. Players also get the option of gambling their spins if they have landed 15 or less.
During the spins, whenever the Loki Super Symbol lands, it will award an additional spin. When it hits or moves as part of a Tumble, it will add Wild symbols on all positions to the reel above it and will upgrade higher-paying symbols to the next highest-paying symbol for the duration of the round.
The game also has multiple Buy Bonus options, with players able to choose the number of spins they want to buy.
Revenge of Loki Megaways has a solid math model. The RTP is 96.51%, which puts it comfortably above average and earns it a big thumbs up, according to our slot strategy guide. Pragmatic Play has rated the game 5/5 for volatility, and it has a maximum win of 10,000x the player's stake.
