This is your chance to storm towards the skies and play alongside Zeus, the King of the Gods. Don't be scared if you see some lightning bolts—that's just Zeus giving you a little extra luck. In fact, you could win as much as 50,000x your stake. Now that's really a gift from the gods.
Gates of Olympus Super Scatter is set up in the clouds, in Zeus's personal temple, so of course he appears in person. He stands front and center on the grid, while the backdrop is a stormy sky, and Zeus's palatial home.
While the background music is quite dreamy and slow, the sound effects get really exciting if you're lucky enough to land a win. The game explodes with classic slot machine sounds, plus there's a dramatic noise every time a Scatter lands on the reels.
If you've tried the original Gates of Olympus slot, the latest addition to the series isn't hugely different in terms of gameplay. Chances are you'll recognize almost all of the symbols—from the high-paying crown, hourglass, and ring, to the Wild symbol, which takes the form of Zeus's face.
The main addition here is the special Super Scatter feature, which we'll tell you about a little later.
Gates of Olympus Super Scatter is really easy to understand. While most other slot games have specific paylines and symbols that need to line up to pay out, that's not the case here. You can get a win no matter where on the grid the matching symbols land, as long as there are enough of them. You'll need at least eight of any of the standard symbols to win.
Looking for an extra chance to win? The Tumble feature removes all winning symbols from the grid after each win, giving you another chance to complete winning combinations. There's no limit to the number of Tumbles.
There's one thing that makes this slot special, and it's in the name: Super Scatters.
Normal Scatter symbols can land on any of the reels and four or more pay out. But what you really want to see are Super Scatters. The best thing about Super Scatters is that one of them in combination with four Scatters pays out 100x your bet, while four Super Scatters pay the maximum amount of 50,000x.
Any combination of Scatters that includes at least one Super Scatter launches the Free Spins round. You'll start off with 15 Free Spins, and five more can be added by landing three or more extra Scatters. Multipliers values are collected and added to the total Multiplier, which boosts all wins for the duration of the Free Spins round.
Look out for the multicolored stone symbols during both the base game and Free Spins. These are Multipliers, and they can take on a random value of up to 500x.
The Return to Player (RTP) percentage is 96.50%, and while we've seen better, this is actually a little above average. Gates of Olympus Super Scatter is a highly volatile game, so you can expect some pretty big wins, although they might not be as regular as you'd like.
You can play the game from a minimum of $/€/£0.20 per spin to a maximum of $/€/£240, or a high roller-worthy $/€/£360 with the Ante Bet on.
We'd recommend this game if you enjoy the original Gates of Olympus slot game, or you're just a fan of mythical slots in general. The Super Scatters really make this game stand out. Plus, who wouldn't want to win up to 50,000x their stake?
