I have answered once before on this thread (more on what to do if you think you should play). Now, I would like to give the answer warning you not to play.

At the simplest level, when you enter the casino, you are fighting both randomness and the house edge.

Regarding only the randomness. If you have no betting strategy, you can lose quickly. If you have a betting strategy, you can lose slowly. If you have an extremely good betting strategy, you might be able to break even or lose very slowly. If you lose your funds quickly, it is usually because you took too much risk and randomness went against you.

HOWEVER, you also have the house edge. Please understand, no betting strategy in the world will defeat the house edge. This is why the house always wins. And usually by draining your funds slowly.
