As far as volatility is concerned, slots with less volatility pay out multiple times but mostly smaller amounts. It may not always be the best choice, but I would say there are fewer dead spins with such slots than with higher volatility. This is how I have chosen the 3, I Look for an area that is well traveled and these machines are played enough by fellow customers (These particular machines are in a circular position, or look for machines at the end of banks where you suspect have been played more often). I have only lost one time out of every ten times I play these. My wins are between $50 to $350. Then I go onto one dollar slot machines with 5 lines. (This is what's known as Bankroll Building). Machines Like Patriot, Meltdown to name a few. If I win a little I go onto one Dollar, Nine line Machines. There are more of these types. (like Black Diamonds, Crystal stars, Blazing Gems to name a few) Sometimes I play a dollar - two credit slot machine like Double Diamond Deluxe, But there are very few and usually in use by customers. Although I'm not very familiar with slots, I think what you say is super correct and interesting. I'm more into sports, but lately I've been interested in slots, and I had an idea similar to yours. However, you've given me a whole lecture on the crude idea I had about those aspects...

I enjoy playing, but my funds are Limited, so by Playing This type (3 Reels) slot Machines my money last longer, thus my chances of hitting a better paying hit, due to the small paybacks. Although You can get into the software aspects of RTP (return to Player), the RNG (Random Number Generator) which doesn't care how much money you put in, what time or how may times it has been played. I choose games that appear to be played more, (that's just my Opinion) I go up to a machine and Play it, if it's not giving any payback after 6 to 10 spins I move on to another. after trying several up to 6 slot machines, sometimes I get one that gives me a decent hit. If that hit is bigger, like say $250, I might play a few more spins just in case I get back to back hits. If not, I move on. I evaluate my loses or winnings and make decisions on which machines denominations to play. The number that has been put out there is to play 1% of your money set aside to play. I have played 2 to 3 max credit, one line dollar denominations, but prefer to play 5 line dollar denominations, seems to be the ones that I have won on more Often. Quite nicely and reasonably described. I'm glad you took the time to write this post because I can see that another player is also interested in it. You also have a pretty responsible approach to gambling.
I don't play in casinos, I do occasionally bet on sports but very little, but once I have more experience I will definitely share it with you.
