You need to submit claims with the bank stating the item you were charged for was not received. As soon as you mention gambling or casinos they will not help.

If it's older than 120 days you claim it as a gift card/credit for the merchants products which you haven't received or have no access to.

Good practice to send emails to the merchant first and to use screenshots of those emails with no responses to support your claim. The merchant won't respond as you haven't actually bought anything from them and you will win the claim automatically.

It's worth reading casino t&c too as if your country is on a list of restricted countries then send them screen grabs of that and request full refunds.

As for the transferop ones, submit those as scams and the bank will try and recoup the funds but this is not guaranteed

Yeah I get you Nikotpf have used code 8299 they have responded to my email and asked the bank to help with the refund process yet they are still saying they can't.

Others in this thread who also bank with chase have had successful refunds and chargebacks for the same merchants so its really annoying.

I can prove my deposits to donbet matches up with the deposits to pixeleum and finnart.io but they still say nothing is wrong.

Thats my problem I have mentioned casino and gambling and thats why they are saying now they can't process chargbacks as I have received funds in my casino account.

We all know this is illegal its just about finding the right way to get your bank to understand.

I have emailed and asked both merchants for goods and reciepets and invoices and obviously no reply. Unfortunately donbet does accept uk players.

So you’ve done this successfully without mentioning gambling?

The only problem I see with here is how to justify say a large transaction of £1000 against a crazy transaction name logically. What goods did you expect? Where’s the email trail? Why wouldn’t you chase this earlier? (Assuming you’re towards the end of 120 days).

The bank will tear you apart…

Really. Absolutely insane that the bank can admit that the wrong merchant code has been used and at the same time disclaim all responsibility.

I was honest from the start and like i said pixeleum and finnart.io are my 2 merchants and I have tried to say no goods or services were received from these merchants but because I received funds in my account they said they done nothing wrong.

I have just asked donbet chat for their terms and conditions and policy regarding payments and payment processors and they said they can't give me that and ended the chat.

You need to be honest. Explain that your problem is ahold of you.

I had no communication back from the bank for months when I opened up to them about my problem, they know they failed me and accept responsibility!

I had 100s of smaller transactions won with revolut and they were all over 120 days old.. you get an extension of time to claim up to 540 days if it is gift credit or something deemed deliverable in the future.

If for example you were charged for books, you say you opted to purchase a gift certificate to cover you for studying? And now you've started a course and the credit amount is no longer available so you did not receive your goods.

I have been honest I told them I have been on gamstop since 2020, I haven't put any gambling blocks in place with my bank tho that's the issue.

But surely they can see NFT websites has nothing to do with a gambling website where the money actually went to???

Also the bank can see on my statements failed after failed after failed deposits as they got blocked because of crypto and then 2 mins later approved for the same amount by pizeleum just because they had a different MCC.

Nice bank you seem to have!🙂

Here in Sweden, people have tried to be honest with both banks and Revolut at the beginning of all this, they have denied directly when the casino has been mentioned.

Anyway, I have reported Revolut to Swedish ARN and they are currently reviewing all the documents I submitted.

I basically sent the bank an email back in June and then July, after I had received £7500 from wintermdse to then lose it all within a couple of weeks, I emailed the bank twice and never got no response. She said they have failed me, I have the email trail obviously to show it! It's nice to hear, she said I might not get it all back but she said she will do everything she can because she is aware of these companies!

Any communication back from any of these companies will be able to be disputed by me and she will always be on my side to win the case! It's a breath of fresh air, i am clean since my big relapse but large amounts of money trigger us, that's the sods law!

She has also given me my own gambling advisor that I can speak to as and when I want and they will constantly check up with me. I am really impressed with how smooth it went and how lovely the lady was, can only sing her praises!😁

You need to speak to your bank raise the issue of these transactions being made fraudulently, you need to ensure you do it persistently, and unfortunately be a victim! As that's what we are. You need to explain all the harm that being allowed to gamble has done to you! I've had a gambling block for 3 years!

I have told them just that I can prove these deposits were made to a gambling website as I have the screenshots of the deposits which perfectly match up to my statement so any other category than 7995 does warrent a chargeback.

I've already had a 35 day scam fraud case been declined.
