Yes that is it but it is a long wait to win the case but the bank has to pay it plus interest
nice one, thank you. I’ll do the same, if I have any success i’ll let you guys know what worked and didn’t work for me
yeah exactly, i’m only doing a couple grand here and there, i imagine it wouldn’t be worth their time fighting it
Can only find the one FOS decision, currently dealing with an ombudsman myself, could you help me find the other one? may help my case, thanks 🙂 DRN-4400536 is the one i currently have
Where i can find These Mcc Codes on Revolut? Cant See any of these Details on my Bank Statement
you can't see them yourself, however if the merchant on your statement is different to the website you deposited too, then you can almost guarantee they have used the incorrect mcc
Hello mate,
I don't recognise any of these merchants, however these casinos use different ones daily. Which casino did you use? Also, was it debit or credit card transactions?
Jokabet have been known to refund UK users themselves.
All credit card transactions I'd go straight to the credit card company, as gambling transactions should be automatically blocked on the credit cards, these companies using wrong MCC is a big reason for a chargeback.
The bank transferred transactions, I'd also originally try the chargeback method. However, some banks are reluctant to help out. So you may want to consult the financial ombudsman alongside your complaint with your bank.
I've not heard of those ones, however how can seriously believe you made these transactions to furniture and fragrance companies. So ridiculous. Go to the Ombudsman I think
I had some luck directly with Jokabet, after this email they sent the one below what I sent. May be worth a go?
Hi,
Thanks for this, so a couple of concerns I deposit to you yet these third parties now have my details as the contract should be between us not them. You state UK players accepted and let you deposit yet your terms state no UK players.
Please provide details of these third parties so I can look to obtain a refund as they shouldn’t be handling my money.
Kind regards
Hello,
We hope this email finds you well.
We wanted to inform you that all deposits will be refunded to your credit card ending in ***. We will contact you once the refunds have been processed.
Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely,
Ethan
