What are they claiming here without any evidence? The hearing at the ECJ is on April 9, 2025, and we'll have a ruling by early 2026 at the latest—there will be a statement from the Advocate General before then!
You're absolutely right - but I don't know if I'll be able to see 2026 because of my health condition - so I would be pleased if there really was someone who would buy my losses - and besides, I didn't claim anything else.
............the hearing is on April 9th (however, this only concerns cases C-77/24 (Wunner) and C-683/24 (Player Protection Sigma). The first case will clarify whether the courts at the players' place of residence have jurisdiction over claims brought by the managing directors. The hearing on this already took place in February, although a decision from the ECJ is not expected for several months. The second case concerns "Bill 55." However, a court decision in Malta has since been issued refusing to recognize an Austrian judgment without recourse to "Bill 55" on the basis of the legal framework already in force. This is problematic in that repealing "Bill 55" would not help us. This decision is being appealed, but the decision of the Court of Appeal in Malta is not expected for another 3-4 years (this is the exact wording of my lawyer - so........WAIT....

I can understand you, and I'm also very surprised. An EU that plays games like this and gets away with the tactic of wearing down every consumer to the point of existence is crazy!! May I ask which law firm? I've been told that the pressure will be great after 9 April, and that Bill 55 will then be dropped in an initial letter from the EU, because that's where all the questions about the freedom to provide services are.
I'm referring directly to the model proceedings, which have already been waiting for four years or more. These should then be enforceable for the first time.
