The player from Slovenia has been blocked after the casino reviewed her changing location and considered it suspicious. We were forced to reject this complaint because the player focused only on sports betting.

I deposited roughly around 800€ in total to my account. After I lost initial 200€ and 300€ i eventually started winning and made about 3k € in profit. I passed the verification process in the beginning already and I decided to make a withdrawal of my winnings after about a month of playing. It was rejected and they asked for further verification. I obliged and sent them required documents. But that was not enough. They kept adding and adding the documents, which at the end included:

-photo of my ID

-photo of my passport

-address proof

-selfie with my username

-selfie with my ID

-my crypto wallet used for deposit

-selfie with my crypto wallet

-notarised copy of ID

-notarised proof of address

-selfie with notarised documents

-again a photo of ID


After i provided all that and they finally ran out of excuses and documents I need to provide they sent me a message that my account is now open for withdrawals. I had a pending withdrawal of 500$ which was approved (much later than they said it would) and on the same day as it was approved I wanted to withdraw the rest (around 3.3k$). I tried to login but found my account BLOCKED. I went on live chat and the agent said i will get a reply in 12-24hrs. I waited. Went on live chat again after a week, the agent said I will DEFINITELY get a reply same day. I waited. Sent numerous emails. Nothing. Went on live chat again. Same lies again. I waited more. Its been more than 3 weeks, my account is blocked, and they keep ignoring me and giving me more lies.

After I posted my review on your site I eventually got an answer. I begged and begged for weeks for them to reply and there was of course none. After few reviews they decided I am worthy of a reply after all. However they wrote me they blocked my account because their system detected me at strange locations and that I said I was never outside Slovenia and that this statement therefore doesn’t match their logs and this is the problem. Since I know them well by now and I know they are desperate and will do anything to steal my money, I sent all the livechat transcripts to my email. I replied and sent them the transcripts with dates and data so they saw they are being caught lying again. I never said anything remotely similar to this since I know i travel for work and I take my laptop with me. They replied back that indeed they made a mistake and i indeed didnt say this but that i was still detected in few different countries. I replied again that this is 21st century and people travel and therefore their devices will be occasionally detected outside their little country where they live.

They said they are willing to pay me 600€ out of 3.3k and also hoping that i will delete the reviews. They owe me 3.300 € and they act like we are on a market in Asia, we will not pay 3.300€ but we give you 600€! They know they got absolutely nothing because we all very well know if legitimately I would do something wrong they wouldn’t be willing to pay one penny. Of course I declined and told them this is an absolute disgrace and that they need to pay everything what they owe but now again ignore mode. Its been more than two months already since I am trying to withdraw my hard earned money and as of today no money has been paid out. (Other than the 500€ back in October)

Could you please advise which countries you traveled to and when was the last time you went abroad? Did you play from these locations?

Have you accumulated your winnings with or without an active bonus, please?

Thank you so much for your reply and for taking my case. I didnt know where to look for help anymore and am so happy I got a reply from you.

The nature of my work requires lots of travelling and I was travelling through Germany, UK and Czech Republic. I don’t think I ever played from any of those locations since the trips are always very short(couple of days at most) and normally rather busy.

When my withdrawal of 500€ was finally approved I tried to withdraw the rest and at that very moment I was on a business trip in Asia.

No, I never took any bonus nor I accumulated any winnings from it. The deposit were all my funds, Roughly between 800-900€.


Can I forward you all the correspondence I had with the chipstars bet and you see for yourself how i was treated?

Dear Casino Guru,


Allow us to present our statement regarding this case.


First and foremost, this is a sportsbook case and the player has rejected to do the requested KYC, the KYC is not fully done yet and we have all the reasons to ask for this, as the player has made contradicting statements regarding events on the account, accessed the account from jurisdictions we do not permit and further has engaged a lawyer which contacted us from a gmail address without a power of attorney letter and which is so far not detectable as an attorney via google. We will of course not engage with any potential lawyer impersonator, this goes without saying.


The player was offered a refund of all deposits plus some extra money for the documents that have been requested, however this was rejected by the player.

 

Further, the player has been flagged as "professional" from the sportsbook provider and breached several TC's, our position on the matter is firm.

 

I hope this clarifies everything and gives enough insights to conclude a decision.

Dear Kristina, I will forward you all the correspondence I had with Chipstars from day 1 on your email and you can make your mind up based on the facts supported by evidence, unlike the empty and false claims by Chipstars.

In Slovenia. Like i said, those trips are always very short, so normally i dont get a chance to play while i am abroad. I might have placed few bets but certainly i obtained more than 90% of my winnings in Slovenia, if not even all of it.

Aleksandrascap, I went again through the whole complaint and I am afraid that if you focused on sports betting and you were flagged as professional by the sportsbook provider, we are not able to proceed further with this case. As you might know, our forum Casino.guru, deals with complaints regarding online casinos only. I understand it must be difficult for you, but unfortunately, we don’t have enough insight to take on this kind of issue. We don't think your complaint is unjustified, we just wouldn't be able to judge a case like this fairly and correctly.

Hi Kristina. Thank you for your message. I understand. I will be so happy to get any help or information since I am loosing my faith here. They ruined my Christmas this year thats for sure. After I agreed to do a phone verification they asked to give them dates and times of availability, I gave them multiple and send numerous emails, went to the chat etc. they been quiet now again and keep ignoring me since 9th December. So clearly they had 0 intention to do that phone call, it was just another cover for delaying/ not paying out.

so please, do send me any info you have, anything I could use to fight this.
